An Interview with Thomas Morton

What was the most sacred moment you have had in your life?
Thomas Morton:
Wow, what a question! To be very clear in answering this, I would like to say first that every moment is sacred when you live in the moment (or now). Of course if one is out of "the now," then one loses touch with "being" with "the sacredness" of that moment. If you are asking about my personal history (which I feel you are), I would have to say it was when I was shown that God was within me.

Why are you optimistic about the future of humanity in this time of uncertainty and fear?
TM:
When we talk of the future, most of us feel we don’t have any control over it. Many of us hope for the best but then unknowingly doubt and wonder if the best will happen.

Everything in the known universe is cause and effect. We are all creators of our own experience. Some of us know this, some of us are learning this and some of us are still blaming everyone else for our problems.

Remember "you reap what you sow" or "what goes around comes around"? These sayings represent the cause and effect at the personal, experiential level.

When one begins to act and think with Love and "positive thinking," you begin to experience the same creation coming back to you. When one applies this universal law of positives on a regular, constant basis and not just when you are in pain, you reap the positives of your own creation on a constant basis. When one truly practices these truths in your life, this way of being positive becomes a way of life.

The outcome is a positive thinker that does not allow anything else but the optimistic way of thinking. I am so very grateful that I was taught these important truths more than 30 years ago. My life is so full of positives today, and there is no room for fear because of it.

What holistic practice is a part of your life to help you maintain health and wellness and to connect with your spiritual Self?
TM:
Constant Meditation and Prayer has become a way of life that I am grateful for – beyond words

In the West, (USA) we base everything on our "test tube" science. We take note of cause and effect to be present in the way matter in the universe moves. We recognize this tracking of effect as factual science. This is sometimes referred to as "the domino effect" science. Up until recently any attempt to show the scientific community the power of the mind was rebutted. We are just now beginning to recognize the science of Quantum Physics that clearly shows the mind’s powers.

In the East, we take note that everything is energy and thought and feeling are the two most powerful forms of the energy of creation. We see that nothing was ever created that wasn’t thought and felt first.

What single message do you want to share with us from your heart?
TM:
Please take responsibility for your own creation and create a loving world for us all. Just know it, be it and live it.
