I have been a psychotherapist for more than 35 years and now have a private practice in my home office in Maple Grove. For twenty years, I have also been actively involved in metaphysical work that has paralleled the traditional therapy.
My work has always been client-centered and focuses on helping clients learn to manage depression, anxiety, trauma, physical pain or stress. I assume that people live with chronic emotional distress in their lives in part because they don’t know how to do things differently. I help people learn a variety of skills they can use to improve their quality of life and their sense of personal control. I believe it is important to work with clients’ strengths and their own belief system, helping them to increase their appreciation and enjoyment of their own gifts.
