The Institute of the Himalayan Tradition (IHT) is a place for study and sharing, education and community. We teach the wisdom of meditation and yoga. Throughout the year we offer workshops and classes in hatha yoga, meditation, stress-relief, relaxation, wellness, self-discovery, Eastern and Western psychology and philosophy — all that touches our lives from the mundane to the sacred. We work for the enhancement of spiritual development.
Thursday night satsang (lecture and meditation) gives an opportunity to meet students and faculty. Private consultations, initiations, and a summer silent retreat are also offered. BETAR, the ultimate relaxation biofeedback machine, is available.
