Jeanette
Schoenlaub-Jackson, 53, who managed sales for the Kansas City edition of The
Edge from 1996-1999 and published Kansas City Wellness magazine since then, passed
away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital. Jeanette was publisher/owner
of Health Point Publications and served the Kansas City metro area by providing
information on complementary & alternative medicine, natural healthcare,
organic food/nutrition and spiritual and mental wellness. Edge Life Editor Tim
Miejan took the initial two levels of Reiki training at the same time as Jeanette
in St. Joseph. Jeanette went on to become a Reiki master. She led group Reiki
sessions for years in her home. Tim Miejan met Jeanette at the Source of Universal
Learning (SOUL) group gathering in St. Joseph and considered her a soul whose
healing mission was always forefront in her life. The Edge staff sends its condolences
to Jeanette’s family and friends. She will be missed.
