The Earth is not flat nor is it the center of the Universe nor was it created in seven days nor is there a man in the sky running things! There are some things that are not open to interpretation. Such as, if you physically, mentally or emotionally abuse a child, it will be scarred. It is simply wrong. Period! Here, let’s get this out into the open. Priests that have sex with children should be castrated, hung and/or the whole religion that they represent should be shut down. It is probably a good thing that I am not yet in a position of power, because I have a storehouse of whoopass to deal out. At times I feel like a voice in the wilderness crying, “What the hell are you people doing?”
It doesn’t make sense that people are hungry or that they can’t get health care, when in simple board, role playing or video games we are taught to redistribute resources for the individual and collective. It doesn’t make sense that we gave a Nobel Peace Prize to the president of a country that is still waging war and not finding solutions of peace. I want to create a “No” directive. And here is how it would go. Whenever some company or government, which really is the same thing here in the U.S, decides to do something stupid, I get a call and simply tell the company/government “No“…end of story.
Do I think I am a god or that I should be given a certain amount of power? No. But I am bold enough to say that something is stupid and that we shouldn’t do it. You see, I don’t care if I have been someone else in a different life, or if I descended from the stars, or if some dude’s house has many mansions. Right here, right now, I can point at something and say, “That is wrong!” and not blow smoke up everyone’s butt saying, “There is no right or wrong,” which placates the predators of our times and absolves them of their wrongdoings.
Religions condone suffering to keep its slaves in line; this should not be a world design. The law is crooked because it releases the guilty. Suffering, war and pestilence happens because we are not listening to the obvious. We have all witnessed a gaping hole deep within the Earth spewing oil. The Earth was bleeding and we were not upset at this? In the CERN Laboratories they are smashing particles together, trying to replicate “The Big Bang.” If they are successful, this planet and the space around it could fold in on itself. If they make larger mistakes than they already have, they can open up a black hole right here on our planet with the same results.
What we are saying is that it is perfectly okay to rape the planet, anything or anyone!
So let’s just say, for the hell of it, that we decide to actually deal with what is happening: global warming, world hunger, child abuse, holes spewing oil, war, crime, murder, just to name a few. Then, let’s say, just for kicks, we realize that we are living on a freaking planet that is feeding us. You simply don’t poop where you eat. It is not healthy. Let’s say that we let go of the judgments that separates us from ourselves, each other and this planet. Would that be so bad?
There is so much that our conditioning allows us to gloss over – the obvious human atrocities. What if everyone who has the eyes to see, at every turn, said, “No!” and took a stand when they saw something wrong going on. Obviously I don’t have the space here to voice all that is happening, but you get my drift.
I am sure that there are those who say that if you focus on it, you just make it worse, just like those who ignore the cries of their children so that the family’s name is protected…you know who you are. All I am asking is that you wake up and don’t use culture, religion and spirituality as a veil to blind you and pretend that everything is okay. Speak you mind! Hell, shout it!
This living, breathing planet that we have been blessed to live upon has been here, and will be here, long before, and after, us….well, unless CERN sucks it up in a man-made black hole. You have reminded us that we are, indeed, animals. We need to go back to those instincts and awareness and remember to listen. We don’t listen to what should be common sense. Some of the decisions made aught to be no brainers. When you take a look at the animals that effectively live with this planet, they are functional. You don’t see them doing the crap humans do. We are, at best, marginally functional. Let’s get our heads out of our asses and step up. Take the “NO directive” to a greater depth and be the change you wish to see in the world.
Obviously, I couldn’t agree with you more….It is amazing what we let even ourselves get away with based on our training. HZ
But what we swallow does do harm – we just don’t notice the harm. By swallowing we allow that thing to exist instead of saying “NO” as you advise. You are so right, we need to voice that NO loud and clear because by not saying NO we allow ourselves to be in denial and we allow that thing (child abuse, planet abuse, etc) to exist.
Donna, I am happy that I am not the only one that sees this. I find that the more we swallow the more we are infected by the disease…a disease which allows us to be at ease with what is going on around us and that is simply insane. I can’t blow happy dust up peoples butts and pretend, my choice is to be a voice to put it to an end. HZ
