A slumber is an opportunity to rise from a sleeping state. In any moment we can shift our awareness and awaken to a new consciousness, even if we feel we are in a slumber. Wherever you are at this moment in your life, a window of transformation is opening.
Changes can be a clue that enlightenment is entering and a higher consciousness is emerging in your life. We all have heard that a flower must grow through the dirt. It’s true. The more we can accept the gift of transformation, then we can awaken into the blessings of spring.
There are daily practices that make this transition easier:
- Experience gratitude for this moment in the journey of your life. You are the sum of all your experiences. If just one aspect of your experience was different, then you would not be the person you are today.
- Instill a belief that you have the ability to heal, rejuvenate and transform your life. This is powerful for whatever you think will expand.
- Expect that you are emerging spiritually from a slumber and this is your higher power’s promise. This gift is your inherent birthright. It’s important to create and honor this sacred time. One can awaken by singing your song with the divine each day. Chanting mantras can be a golden spiritual practice that can assist in becoming conscious of the divine orchestration. Remember that it’s a gift, a season of rejuvenation.
I have also found making an intention of servant leadership opens a doorway into spring and renewal. This commitment of serving all life each moment of my day is a practice that brings the gift of spring and renewal to others.
Every caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly. This transformation process is necessary or the butterfly can not fly and survive in the world. We are like butterflies breaking free from the slumber and cocoon of winter into the breathless grace of spring. The gift of renewal awaits….
