I looked at all the famine, war and disease, all the cruelty and suffering, all the injustice and inhumanity and cried out to God, “Why, why, why are you doing this? Why are you allowing this? Why don’t you intervene?”
I demanded an answer but no answer was given. Every day I cried out for the answers and every day there were no answers. Until the day I stopped demanding and became still, and I heard a calm quiet voice as if from within say, “Be kind to each other.”
