His ego pranced in front of me
How dare I tell the truth
What could I do about it anyway
The damage he created
Is from his own doing
As I sat and listened to his wrath
I wondered if he still thinks it’s worth it
Just then his spirit peeked out aside him
“I’m scared to live inside this body
the hurt it unleashes ricochets inside
I try to lead him to the Light
but fear and greed lead him away”
At that moment I looked at him again
I felt compassion for his soul.
