Minnesota’s Best Yoga Festival & Geeta Conference of Americas, taking place August 27-29 at Geeta Ashram, 10537 Noble Ave., in Brooklyn Park, MN, will promote the keys to well-being, peace and happiness through self-realization, yoga and meditation. The event will include speakers from India and throughout the United States, including Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii).
The cost is $60 — $50 for Saturday only — and children 9 years and younger will be admitted free. Lunch and dinner are included.
Noted speakers include: Geeta Geeteshwari, India; Tulsi Gabbard, Hawaii; Satya Kalra; Dr. Ravi Gupta; Narinder Kapoor; Bhanwar Joshi; Dr. Shashi & Chander Prakash; Purnendu Krishnadas; Pandit Dinesh Shastri; Ved Sharma; and Vivek Kamran.
Friday’s activities include a meet-and-greet with the special guests, followed by dinner and an opportunity to learn best practices from across the country.
Saturday morning includes a meeting with Rep. Gabbard, as well as “Your Keys to Peace & Happiness Through Self-Realization & Srimadh Bhagvad Geeta” with multiple presenters. Youth discussions and competition also will take place. Saturday afternoon features break-out sessions on: the Art of Living — Breath, Mind and Happiness; Hatha Yoga — How it Works in Utah Prisons; the Science of Spirituality, Healing with Meditation; Mindfulness; Nature Cure; Mantra & Meditation; and Janmasthmi Celebrations, Bhajans.
On Sunday, Pandit Dinesh and Guru Ma will present Geeta Path Geeta Havan, and Guru Ma Pravachan.
