Dear editor,
I read the articles in your May edition about the Avatar Sai Baba. I googled him, because I was intrigued. I mistakenly googled "Sai Bab" and what came up first wasan article about his alleged sexual misconduct. I thought, hmmm, maybe it’s a fluke. So I googled "Sai Baba, sexual abuse," and article after article came up, including one that summarizes a Salon magazine feature found at www.rickross.com/reference/saibaba/saibaba7.html
I have the utmost respect for Carolyn Myss. But I think this Sai Baba guy recognized Myss as a powerful influence in our culture. Yes, he probably is a highly evolved being, but he has a dark side, sorely lacks boundaries and has a twisted concept of love.
It’s just putting this guy on your cover…and I thought, wow! Sounds amazing, especially with an endorsement by Carolyn Myss, and then googling (which I always do) only to discover the awful accusations. Well, it greatly hurts the credibility of your wonderful publication.
I do love your publication and it deserves to be seen in the best light possible.
