Uptown Art Fair in August

    St. Paul native Jeanne Bonine will join 349 other artists from 37 states and three countries (Canada, Argentina and the U.K.) at the 44th annual Uptown Art Fair on August 3-5 in Uptown Minneapolis, surrounding Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue. Hours are from noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. Artists will display works in ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood, 2D mixed media and 3D mixed media.

    On the same weekend, enjoy the Loring Park Art Festival and Powderhorn Art Fair in Minneapolis, with free shuttle buses leaving every 20 minutes between all three events. Board at Loring Park on Oak Grove/15th Street at Willow, at Uptown Art Fair next to Walker Library on Lagoon, at Powderhorn Park on 15th Avenue at 34th Street, and on Lake Street (Midtown Station) on the south side of Lake Street.
