Listening to Whispers: Sharing the Voice of the Animals

459

I thought I was nuts. No, I’m serious. There I was, minding my own business as I strolled through the kennels at a no-kill shelter in Southern, Wisconsin – looking for the dog I was going to work with so she could become more relaxed, better behaved and more adoptable. It was about six years ago and I was just beginning my path with the animals – volunteering to do Tellington TTouch® work with some of the more challenging dogs.

As I rounded the corner, the room was filled with barking sounds of every shape and size. Then a scream rang out – sending chills up my spine.

"HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!"

I spun around quickly to see who was screaming. Nobody was there. Well, except for the beagle who was panting frantically and wagging vigorously at my feet. Was it possible? Could I really hear him? Am I nuts?

It took about a half hour after that to realize I was gifted – my sheepish "Am I nuts?" phone call to my sister on the way home. At that time, I had no idea what had just taken place and I was scared and confused. Thank goodness for older sisters who double as animal communicators.

What I learned is that anyone can communicate with animals – you just need to believe it’s possible and be open to it. I was very open, so I had to sharpen my skills unless I wanted every dog, cat, cow or ferret stopping me to share their story. They will, you know.

During the past six years, I’ve learned to listen to the whispers that come from the animals, plants and humans. Sometimes they come in the form of telepathic communication (pictures/words/feelings), sometimes an inner knowing, and sometimes through heightened presence and awareness – really being with an animal, plant or human and truly seeing them with all of my senses.

I talk to animals and people – helping them discover their true spirit and igniting their greatness that already exists within. I’m a combination between Cesar Millan (dog whisperer) and Mother Teresa – maybe a little Ellen Degeneres thrown in – and I feel blessed to share my gifts with the world.

When we truly pay attention, magic happens. The animals have been waiting patiently for us to expand our consciousness. Are you ready to listen?
