MINNEAPOLIS – The Theosophical Society will show an illustrated history of the Theosophical movement from the 19th to 21st centuries at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, at Pershing Park Neighborhood Center, 3523 W. 48th St., Minneapolis. The documentary depicts the society’s beginning with author Madame Helena Blavatsky and early members Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, L. Frank Baum, Abner Doubleday, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Jean Sibeleus and Piet Mondrian. The film describes the extent and and influence of the current worldwide spiritual organization that studies all world religions without any specific affiliation.
