The annual Minneapolis Health & Holistic Expo hosted by Edge Life Expos & Events returns November 13-14 to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1300 Nicollet Mall, in downtown Minneapolis and includes a post-show event on November 15. The expo will include many well-renowned speakers, free workshops, and a diverse array of exhibits on health, wellness and spirituality.
The expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14. The post-show event – Sri Ram Kaa and Kira Raa presenting “Pathways of Choice! Co-Creating our World for 2013 and Beyond” – is from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
“We are excited to have Helen Reddy as this year’s featured guest speaker,” said Gary Beckman, producer of Edge Life Expos & Events. “Helen will talk about her lifelong journey from being a grammy-award winning singer and actress to follow her call to become a spiritual teacher.”
In her keynote address from 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, entitled “Global Transformation and the Spiritual Life,” Reddy will share her spiritual awakenings that led her to become a clinical hypnotherapist in Sydney, Australia. She will discuss about global transformation, self-awareness and the usefulness of hypnotherapy in healing. The cost of her talk is $29 in advance and $35 at the door.
Arctic explorers Lonnie Dupre and Paul Shurke will speak about “Exploration & Global Warming on the Northern Ice Cap from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. They will talk about their expeditions by modified canoes to the North Pole on 600 miles of shifting sea ice.
