Meditation. Is it calling you, but you can’t figure out how to do it “right?” Do have a hard time sorting through all the options? If you’re mystified by what this “meditation thing” is all about and you want to learn more, set aside a Saturday morning for the workshop, “Meditation for You: What…Why…How,” presented by Lynne Olson.

The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Carondelet Center, 1890 Randolph Ave. (adjacent to the College of St. Catherine) in St. Paul. The cost is $59. Email [email protected] for more information and registration, or visit www.richchicks.org and click on “education.”

“Meditation is often intimidating to people – it’s a concept that is unfamiliar and even scary to some who think they’ll have to sit and ‘om’ for hours on end,” said Lynne Olson, workshop facilitator and long-time meditator. “The workshop is designed to introduce people to various forms of meditation, to show them that is doesn’t have be scary or difficult, and that a daily meditation practice can bring amazing gifts into your life.”
