February should be a much mellower month than January. The emphasis is on creativity, friendship and community.
Aries (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)…Pay attention to your changing goals, because you’re rewarded this year when you reach for the highest and best. Make a long-range plan and start taking baby steps to get there. (If you need help, by all means spend the money on a coach, career planner or other professional.) Now is so not the time to sell yourself short.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)…A new way of perceiving your status or reputation is emerging this month. Your career has felt amorphous, in flux, for so long now, but it’s starting to become clearer. This may involve letting go of one of your sacred cows — a career or status goal that secretly holds no meaning anymore. Embrace this new direction — you have to trust your intuition.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)…Life gets a whole lot lighter this month. You’re still learning a lot but in a much more social, outer-directed way. Publishing, higher learning, foreign travel and metaphysical studies are lit up this month and you’ve got money luck on your side too. Watch for career opportunities after the 18th.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)…Against all odds, seemingly out of nowhere, your career catches fire. This could cause tension within an existing partnership. But you’ve been building up to this moment for months now. Better to just dissolve a relationship that isn’t working and put a new framework in place. You give so much to others; you deserve to be supported as you reach for your potential.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)…It’s time to drop some of the charity cases from your life and focus on maximizing your strengths. You’re usually a soft sell, but you will not suffer fools gladly this month. That’s good — the best way to make the world a better place is to set a shining example of a life lived creatively.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)…You’re going to be working hard this month, so put your mind to the task from the outset. You may also decide a new job is in order — if so, you’ve got Mars in your work sector giving you all the drive you need to find better employment and Mercury bringing genius-level ideas to help you work smarter.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)…Your creativity is off the charts this month! Navel-gazing is out and masterpiece creation is in. Of course, when you’re feeling this energized and passionate, it’s only natural to attract new people into your life. This month kicks off an extremely positive relationship period, so get clear on what you want in a lover, friend, or business partner.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)…You’ve got a new mindset this month; you’re finding it much easier to access positive thoughts, both about yourself and about others. This is good news, because you’re still engaged in some deep emotional archeology. Make sure you’ve got a compelling project to work on at home, or Mars in your 4th House could cause domestic strife. Things start to lighten up after the 18th.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)…This month is fabulous for writing, teaching, presenting and generally putting your hard-earned wisdom out into the world. You also find money flowing much more easily than in the last two months. With so much creative energy moving, get your ideas out there — something good is bound to come back.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)…You seem to be either moving or setting down roots this month; either way, the transformation you’re going through is changing how you feel about place. And this feels surprisingly liberating. Although Mars brings extra — but necessary — expenses, Venus in your sign gives you the attractive power to recuperate any losses.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)…Your time in seclusion has brought new insight into yourself and your relationships, but you’re finally out of the dark ages and back in the saddle this month.
