Free Me From Myself

389

My soul wears many faces;
but mostly…
Hiding the scars and masking dark places.
Fighting a battle…the enemy unknown
Imprisoned by my past and fear of dying alone.

This is the face that usually surrounds all my being…
My Dimples may show…
But there’s plenty you’re not seeing.
Like the pain that’s hidden on the far away shelf;
Or the man on bended knees
Praying to free me from myself.

No matter which face my soul may choose,
This is one battle…I choose not to lose
I’ll continue to live for happiness, love and health…
And keep trying daily to…
Free Me From Myself.
