Atlantis Speaks

635

Atlantis. The word dazzles our imagination. For almost 5,000 years, Atlantis has evoked mystery, grandeur and sudden catastrophe.

The founding of the Atlantian Empire is lost in the dawn of time. Atlantis was ancient history 4,800 years ago when Egyptians carved stories about it on their temple walls. What little we know about Atlantian society was written by Plato approximately 500 BCE.

In the 1960s, Anthropologist L. Taylor Hansen traced the migration of Atlantians into North and South America, India and Africa. She discovered that many Native American Tribes have legends of these mystical people fleeing the “old red lands” in the Atlantic Ocean. She suggested that the Mayan calendar might be a legacy from Atlantis.

Earlier this year, Atlantis went mainstream. National Geographic featured ruins of an Atlantian city in Portugal. History Channel explored the Bimini Road, a causeway (now underwater) reportedly built by Atlantian engineers.

Adding to the buzz, “Google Earth” shows sunken islands where the 31st parallel crosses the mid-Atlantic ridge – the Greek coordinates for Atlantis.

Psychics also speak of Atlantis. In the 1880s, Ignatius Donnelly, driven by intuition, identified more than 600 historical references to the sunken land. Edgar Cayce, the psychic most often associated with Atlantis, channeled more than 700 “life readings” of people who once lived there. Modern psychics have contributed their insights.

Who were the Atlantians?
As proof accumulates for the existence of the real Atlantis, Atlantians themselves remain elusive. Even Cayce’s life-readings are tantalizing snippets of Atlantian life, not tangible portraits of actual people.

Who were these tall, powerful people? What did they look like? How did they view their world? Where did they come from? Why did they disappear after the destruction of their island home?

The Atlantians took the answers to these questions with them when they vanished.

Or so it seemed, until two years ago when I awoke at midnight to voices describing the Fall of Atlantis. Was I dreaming? Was I having hallucinations? My cat, Morgaine, didn’t think so. He raced out of the bedroom at the sound. He still pouts when Atlantian bird-whistles wake him from a catnap.

For me (if not for my cat) these transmissions are enhanced by full-color, holographic scenes of Atlantis at the height of its social, political and cultural glory.

Think “History Channel” on steroids.

When I concentrate on a building, bridge or person, the Atlantian Records obligingly rewind to the start of the story then fast forward into the (Atlantian) future. I can control the speed of transmission. That’s a good thing, since I have made it my mission to transcribe daily life in Atlantis and to report conversations I hear along the way.

The Atlantian Records
Unlike many channelings, the Atlantian Records don’t come from intelligent beings. They are more like an interactive computer continually streaming re-runs of Atlantian history into our time.

The location of the message transmitter is unclear. Four sets of records are mentioned in the Atlantian Records. I speculate that the history programs I watch are broadcasting from a sunken island off the coast of France. Why are these transmissions audible only to me and my cat? Surprisingly, they aren’t.

If you wake to whispering in the night, you too may be hearing the audio track of the Atlantian Records. If you dream about the Fall of Atlantis, you are likely picking up the video feed. And if you pay close attention to what you see and hear, you may find yourself transported, like me, back to the Long Lost Land.

As for the rest of us, we’ll have to read the books and wait for the movie.

Cieladora
Cieladora is the author of three books channeled from the Atlantian Records. The first of these transmissions coincided with the worldwide activation of "energy beacons" set up 12,500 years ago by Atlantians in their crystal mines. For more information about Cieladora's experience and the Atlantian Records, go to www.AtlantianRecords.com or visit with Cieladora in person during her upcoming Minnesota book tour. She will be speaking in Minneapolis and Rochester. Events are open to the public. See the Edge Events Calendar for dates and times.
