The December Edge Networking Event will feature the founder of Magus Books & Herbs, Roger Williamson, who will talk about owning a “fringy” business during the last 20 years. He will cite the ups and downs, trends, and what keeps you going as a business owner.
The event will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Magus Books & Herbs, 1309-1/2 4th St. SE in Minneapolis.
This is a perfect event to attend while getting ready to do your business plans and projections for 2013, and to help prepare for when the sun begins to grow on December 21; it’s always an auspicious time to set a yearly intention, and then allow it to grow with the sun! Each participant will get one minute to introduce themselves and what they do. Please arrive no later than 7 p.m. so the event may start promptly at 7:15 p.m.
The Edge’s Networking Event meets on the 12th of each month and is free and open to the public. Each month is a different location, so be sure to check the listing in the Edge. Our goal through the networking group is to help build a stronger community through meeting each other face-to-face in a safe, social setting while also giving you an opportunity to learn more about your community. The event is free and open to the public.
