Blending

newspaperMy morning newspaper lies on my front porch,

blending

with my knowledge of the world.
This afternoon, it wraps coffee grounds,

blending

with my knowledge of compost.
Tomorrow, it recites my obituary,

blending

with my knowledge of eternity.
