WE RECENTLY WENT to Hawaii for a month this past winter…. The time on the Big Island was such an eye opener for my friend and I, and our lives were definitely altered from the power that the island had. It’s very true, like you said (“From the Editor, May 2013), that the power of aloha is so strong there. You cannot escape it. We ran into more friendly and genuine people than we could believe. People want to help one another out, and they never ask “What do you do?” It’s “What do you like to do?
