The Christine Center, a meditation retreat center in Central Wisconsin, will offer weekend retreats in November dedicated to art and writing as spiritual practice:

  • Intuitive Painting Weekend — November 15-17, with Gabriel Uhlein, OSF, Ph.D. — Learn to free yourself and honor soul with brushstrokes for exactly what each moment calls for!   • Spiritual, Creative and Dream Journaling Retreat — November 22-24 with Poet and teacher Cynthia Gallaher — No matter what your writing skill, discover ways to deepen your spirituality, better understand relationships, foster creativity and delve into your nightly dreams through journal writing. Learn the best journal writing methods for your personality.   • Thanksgiving Mandala Weekend: Grounded in Goodness and Gratitude — November 29-December 1 with Gabriel Uhlein, OSF, Ph.D. — Learn about and practice the ancient spiritual art of mandala-making. Mandalas are symbols of deep inner truth, and when creating your own mandalas, you can gain insight about yourself that even provides a gateway to healing.
