ashramSRI AUROBINDO ASHRAM in Delhi, India, will be the site of an intense, seven-week, level 1, 200-hour, residential yoga teacher training course, beginning in January 2014. This world-class training will be taught by Dr. Ramesh Bijlani and Debiprasad Pramanick.

The inspiration behind the course is the integral philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. About 100 years ago, Sri Aurobindo worked out a very powerful synthesis of all the major traditional schools of yoga, and the Mother demonstrated how the path of yoga can be walked every minute of life while living in the real world.

The objective of the course is to prepare qualified and competent yoga teachers to teach yoga in tune with the integral yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Training will be in English and is limited to 20 students.

Dr. Ramesh Bijlani is a medical doctor, writer and teacher. In 1992, he began studying the integral yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Mr. Debiprasad Pramanick has been associated with Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Delhi since 2002.
