A noted shaman and condor protector from Peru will join a turtle priest and keeper of eagle medicine from North Dakota and a Mayan time keeper from Central America to present “Eagle and Condor Prophecy Awakening: Activation of the Divine Feminine Consciousness” on Saturday, Dec. 6 in St. Paul.
The event, presented by Wind over Fire Healing Arts Center in Rochester, Minn., will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Minnesota Waldorf School Festival Hall, 70 E. County Rd. B, near the intersection of 35E and Highway 36. Admission is $20.
The ancient prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor arose from many indigenous cultures of the Americas. It said humanity would split into two paths: the Eagle, representing the mind, the industrial revolution and the masculine; and the Condor, representing the heart, intuition and the feminine. The prophecy said the 1490s would usher in a 500-year period in which the Eagle would become so powerful that it would drive out the Condor, and that is represented in the conquering of the Americas by foreign immigrants and the oppression of the indigenous people.
The prophecy continued by saying the next 500-year period would begin following the end of the long-count of the Mayan Calendar — December 21, 2012 — when we would see the Condor and the Eagle come together and fly in the same sky, creating a higher level of consciousness for humanity. Cultures around the world say the Earth is undergoing an intentional evolution of consciousness at this time.
“Eagle and Condor Prophecy Awakening” will include authentic indigenous ceremonies presented by:
- Jorge Luis Delgado — Jorge is an Andes Shaman from Peru, Quero Yatiri Heritage Keeper, author of Andean Awakening: an Inca Guide to Mystical Peru, and a Condor Protector featured on the television show “Ancient Aliens.” Jorge Luis brought to public attention the Aramu Muru Doorway, an inter-dimensional portal located in the Hayu Marca mountains in south Peru. He is also a founding member of The Brotherhood of the Solar Disc, an Andean esoteric society.
- Cedric Red Feather — Cedric is a Turtle Priest of the Mandan Tribe of North Dakota, a Purple Heart combat-wounded Vietnam veteran, an Okipa Maker and member of the Blackmouth Soldier Society and Red Feather Society. He is the author of Mandan Dreams.
- Gina Miranda Kingsley — Gina is a Mayan Time Keeper, an expert on the Mayan Calendar whose family origin were the Mayans in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. She was trained by a shaman who identified her destiny in connection with the Mayan Calendar.
Live performances will be presented by: Grupo de Huitzillin, an Aztec dancing group; drumming/healing ceremony of the Chilean Mapuche, known as Machitune; Third Eye Tribal, American tribal belly dancers; Janet Red Feather, a ceremonial singer who will present eagle songs; and Duke Addick, a Native American flute player.
