Deborah King, a New York Times best-selling author, spiritual teacher and leading authority on energy healing, will be introduced for the first time in the Upper Midwest at the annual Minneapolis Psychic & Healing Symposium on Saturday, March 7, at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center. The event is hosted by Edge Life Expos & Events.

The symposium will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 in advance ($7 at the door), or two for $10 in advance. Speaker tickets range from $25 to $64 and include admission to the event.

Also featured at the event this year is the return of noted author and psychic Michael Bodine, who is known as the Psychic to the Stars, and a Psychic & Healing Panel, which will include intuitives Kayla Michaele of the Twin Cities and Kelli Miller from the Omaha area. Deborah King also will present a daylong workshop on energy healing ($99 in advance) on Sunday, March 8, at the nearby DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Minneapolis North in Brooklyn Center.

Nearly 90 exhibitors will be on hand offering intuitive readings, wellness products, healing resources, jewelry, crystals and other unique gift items.

“This event is the only ‘true’ psychic symposium in the greater Minneapolis area,” said Edge Life Expos & Events Producer Gary Beckman. “This is probably the largest event with intuitive consultants and psychic readers under one roof than anytime during the year. And this year we are proud to bring Deborah King in to present her incredible story on the value and use of energy healing in our lives.”

A successful attorney in her 20s, Deborah King’s life was radically changed with a cancer diagnosis. Unwilling to undergo invasive surgery, she turned to alternative medicine and experienced an amazing remission at the hands of a healer. Along the way, she conquered the alcohol and drug addictions she had used to bury an abusive childhood. She is the author of Be Your Own Shaman, Truth Heals, and Entangled in Darkness, and she is a featured contributor in a number of print and online publications, including The Huffington Post and Psychology Today. Her keynote talk, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, is “Meet the Master Healer: Get Activated Now!” and she will lead participants through an experiential activation process to promote greater healing and success. Her post-expo workshop on Sunday will be a hands-on, experiential event that will introduce participants to tools that will transform their lives.

The Psychic & Healing Panel, led by Kayla Michaele and Kelli Miller, will explore questions posed on a myriad of issues that affect us all. Kayla is a talented psychic, medium, teacher and speaker whose direct and honest style allows clients to navigate through the “fluff” and get down to the core issues or questions. Kelli is a down-to-earth, hilarious and professional psychic/medium, life coach and transformational speaker who helps people connect with guidance from both energy and spirit to help heal their lives, their grief, their relationships, their careers, their financial issues, their bodies and even their souls.

Michael Bodine will present a session about how to receive answers, how important it is to understand the answers, and how it will or will not help our futures based on how we understand them. Brother to noted Twin Cities psychic and healer Echo Bodine, Michael is the author of Growing Up Psychic: From Skeptic to Believer.
