An acclaimed healing modality — AcuEnergetics® — is becoming known around the world for its amazing results, and it’s first practitioner training classes to be taught in America will be presented in April and May at Healing Waters Health Center in Hudson, Wisc.
Developed in 2000 by Kevin Niv Farrow in Australia, AcuEnergetics (www.acuenergetics.com) is an energy healing modality with a unique and accurate approach to treatment of illness in the body. AcuEnergetics combines 40 years of Kevin’s research and understanding with knowledge from ancient Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian and Judaic texts. The result is a modern treatment modality, backed by thousands of years of wisdom. Using a detailed understanding of the body’s energetic physiology and anatomy and applying techniques exclusive to this modality, AcuEnergetics has successfully treated thousands of people for a wide range of conditions, including both physical and emotional complaints.

Farrow says the treatments are successful because AcuEnergetics Practitioners understand that any pain or dysfunction in the body is in part due to a disruption in the body’s energy system. The treatment works by understanding the principle “restore flow, restore function.” If Practitioners can restore balance and flow to the energy in the body, the body can heal itself. It can be used alone or alongside traditional medical treatments. Some of the conditions AcuEnergetics has been successful treating include: chronic back and knee pain, sciatica, infertility, thyroid problems, headaches, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, insomnia, digestive problems, stress and trauma. Four levels of AcuEnergetics will be taught at Healing Waters Health Center:
- Level 1 — April 10-12 — Skills for Living, with John Peitzman, Senior AcuEnergetics Practitioner, an American who currently lives in Australia and has been trained by AcuEnergetics Founder Kevin Farrow.
- Level 2 — April 15-19 — Inner Alchemy: Treating yourself and others, with John Peitzman.
- Level 3 — April 21 to May 9 — The Art & Science of Energy Healing, with Kevin Niv Farrow and John Peitzman.
- Practitioner Training — May 11-19 — with Kevin Niv Farrow and John Peitzman.
Peitzman, a native Minnesotan, knew after receiving training in AcuEnergetics that he wanted to help introduce the modality in the United States. After meeting with Denise Gunderson, founder of Healing Waters Health Center in Hudson, Peitzman arranged for the first AcuEnergetics training sessions to be taught in America. Level 1 attracted 37 students in December 2013, and in May 2014, another Level 1 and the first Level 2 training took place. No AcuEnergetics Practitioners currently practice in the U.S. Once trained in all four levels, students will have the opportunity to progress through the testing process to become certified AcuEnergetics Practitioners. In the interim, students can practice on friends and family, including performing one of several AcuEnergetics balances they learn during the training courses. These balances promote general well-being and good health by increasing energy flow, reducing stress, improving circulation and strengthening the immune system.
