The Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine (ACIM) announces the launch of the Journal of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine (JCIM), a new peer-reviewed medical journal. JCIM is dedicated to exploring the multifaceted and multi-disciplined world of medicine.
“Throughout history,” the founders said, “the pioneers of medicine have often initially been held to scorn and rejection. Over time these pioneers have been proven right. What we do know is that the medicine of today will not be the medicine of tomorrow. JCIM will endeavor to bring new ideas, while reassessing established practices and concepts from today’s most innovative thought-leaders.”
JCIM’s distinguished Editorial Board is led by C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. William Lee Cowden, M.D., M.D.(H), is chairman of ACIM’s Scientific Advisory Board. Additional Editorial Board Members include: David Brownstein, M.D., Alan R. Gaby, M.D. , Garry Gordon, M.D., D.O., Martha Herbert, M.D., Ph.D., Quila Rider, Ph.D., Sherry Rogers, M.D., Stephen Sinatra, M.D., and Jonathan Wright, M.D.
