A Magically Creative Healing Story — Tapping into Inner Resources

Ever since my childhood, tapping into my inner resources to more deeply access and express my creativity has brought calm joy into my life. The vibrant feeling of allowing Divine creative energy to flow through me, then seeing the results, provides a uniquely passionate thrill. When the end result of those joyous efforts benefits someone in their healing journey, the sweet feeling of connection intensifies with a wonderfully serene satisfaction.

I feel grateful to share this special story of how this handcrafted energy healing wand came into being.

One day, as I prepared myself to enter meditation, I asked Spirit to support me in being an effective conduit for healing energy for a dear friend – a fellow metaphysical minister. She had been experiencing serious health challenges. I also requested guidance from Spirit as to what to use should she come to see me professionally. As is my practice, I gave thanks and retired into my meditation area.

Earlier in the day I had arranged several black bamboo pieces on the service table where I provided clairvoyant phone consultations. When I emerged from meditation and took a look at the pieces, one of them had a distinct mark on it — part of the bamboo had softened into a letter “J.” My initial thought was that I’d need to throw it out, as it appeared to be rotting. However, as I touched the soft impression and pressed into it, the, “J” solidified, indented into the bamboo.

“Well, if that isn’t the mark of Zorro!” I thought. My friend’s name begins with a “J.” So, I listened to the wand, completed it with special extras here and there, and then presented it, along with the story of its creation, to my fascinated friend.

She thought the story should be shared, as it is quite magical, so she provided both permission and encouragement for me to do so. Sometimes I lose perspective, as my life is truly magical 24/7. Here’s a very tangible, physical example of Spirit speaking, of healing energy flowing, and of practical, useful magic.

My friend is the sole keeper of the instructions for how to use her wand, as it is uniquely hers, so I won’t share those details. Basically, though, how an energy healing wand works is simple: Point and shoot. A wand is an implement, a tool for healing, not unlike a fork is a tool for eating. You hold it carefully, with a pure heart and clear mind. Then, as a clear channel, you allow the energy to flow through you, out your palm, into the wand, bottom to top, directed to your recipient (meaning self or others). The healing practitioner is a conduit for the energy – we do not use our own energy; we serve as a pipeline.

The story of how I first began creating energy healing wands amuses my colleagues and friends: One day I emerged from a lengthy healing meditation, feeling especially sensitive. At the time, I had bowls of Himalayan quartz crystal points placed on shelves in my work space. ALL of them were singing! I told them, “Whoa, that’s quite a cacophony. Would you please create ONE concise message?” They complied, and my clairaudient message from them rang out clearly: “We are tired of sitting in this bowl!” LOL!

Not one to argue with clear messages, I began creating a variety of energy healing wands at that time. That was several years ago. I created all of the wands used in my private practice, and made others available for appropriate purchase at wellness events.
