Perception

Santillana-wide
Be kind, the war has ended.
This world of sound and light;
this double mirrored life,
this biased reality
wouldn’t be without us.
Step outside your perception,
surf the copper light
of an incandescent bulb,
through your living room,
out your window, across your street,
your district, your city, your county,
your state, your country, your planet,
your Milky Way, your universe,
and now look back, from above all universes,
so far in time that everything
is but a single atom. Division is a myth,
it’s a matter of perspective.
Be kind, the war has ended.
