By now, few people are unaware of commonly accepted signs and signals that angels are around, trying to get our attention, making their presence known, letting us know they’re with us, etc. Those well-known signs include the experience of seeing repeat numbers, such as 333 or 444 — you get the picture — as well as finding coins or feathers during the course of your everyday activities. Okay….
Here’s the thing: Those commonly-accepted, well-known signs are also said to indicate the presence of loved ones on the Other Side who are around, trying to get our attention, making their presence known, letting us know they’re with us.
My perspective, especially as a natural-born spirit medium who regularly traverses between realms for both personal and professional reasons, is that all realms exist and all experiences hold validity. Do they require specific labels? Do they each lend well to full understanding by following a narrow answer key, cheat sheet or Cliffs Notes version of what are commonly referred to as spiritual or paranormal experiences? Just what is useful here?
I’m a strong advocate of owning one’s personal power. We are each responsible to incorporate whatever comes into our perception into the most potent, practical use possible. Accepting this level of responsibility gives rise to the ability to not only heighten our enjoyment of life overall, but also to contribute to our communities and our planet most potently. Becoming buried in attempts to create overly specific sets of definitions for which symbols mean what often results in a diminished capacity to process new experiences in their purity. Then a dull rut replaces the joyous excitement of heightened perceptions.
Remember George Carlin, may he rest in power? I’ll paraphrase, as this article comprises my own perspective and is not intended to be a documentary about Mr. Carlin’s utterances. He pointedly, yet humorously, explained that, hey, if we’re going to believe in angels, then what about gargoyles? Vampires? Werewolves? The Tooth Fairy? As I’ve said, as a natural-born spirit medium I have witnessed quite a few realms that don’t make any appearance in mainstream literature or media. Accepting one is accepting all — the point is, now what? What inspired action shall be taken?
Many individuals whom I’ve encountered in my various travels include fairly delicate individuals who feel a need to embrace the polarized, dry-ice, positive perspective held by new cage aficionados, insisting upon donning rose-colored glasses regardless of circumstances. What’s “dry-ice positive?” Ever seen dry ice? It looks like steam is coming off of it, as though it’s hot in the extreme. Yet, it’s colder than cold. Get it? Good.
The practice of embracing only “the light” and only “positive thought” often creates yet another inductee into the Stepford-robot, passionless zombie population believing itself to be enlightened. Or conscious. Or awakened. Or whatever the current new cage buzzword may be at any given moment. It is balance that creates the wondrously delicious ability to apply expanded perceptions, regardless of label and including every realm — so yes, angels, too.
Own your power. Anything we’re able to understand is understandable because it is a part of our very selves. Do you sense presence from the angelic realm? Then, lovie, you yourself emanate an angelic presence.
