Food First: Here’s to Your Health

What do you like to have for breakfast? Are you stuck in a rut and ready for something new? Or maybe you are looking for an afternoon snack to give you some energy! In either case, my favorite solution is a green smoothie!

Most of us just are not getting enough fruit and veggies in our diet, and this is a delicious way to add them in! Smoothies are super nutrient dense, full of enzymes, fiber and phytonutrients. They are great for increasing your energy, mental clarity, flexibility and alkalinity and will give you beautiful, healthy hair, skin and nails. They will help you decrease inflammation, aches and pains and help you with weight loss too!

Ready to dive in and show yourself some love this February? Then try this recipe below! Put all of the ingredients into a strong blender and blend until smooth. Additional water can be added if you wish.

1 small banana
1/2 avocado
1 cup cucumber, cut into pieces
1/4-1/2 cup parsley, tightly packed
3 leaves kale, stems removed
2 medium navel oranges, skin and pith cut off
1 cup coconut water
