Positivity is the key to success in your life. It creates a new life and new power, and it increases efficiency and greater happiness. I’d like to share some techniques to practice a positive mind. First, believe in yourself. You must have faith in your abilities, and with sound self-confidence you can succeed. If you succeed, that is fine. If you didn’t, well, tomorrow is another day. I would like to suggest one more way to create self-confidence: filling your mind with affirmations of the presence, support and help of God.
The second technique I want to share with you is to have a peaceful mind. To have a peaceful mind, go alone into the quietest place available to you and sit or lie down for 15 minutes and practice the art of silence. Do not talk to anyone. Do not write. Do not read. Think as little as possible. Throw your mind into neutral. Conceive your mind as quiescent, inactive. This is not going to be easy at first because thoughts are stirring up your mind, but practice will increase your efficiency.
The third technique is prayer power. The formula for this technique is: Prayerize, Picturize and Actualize. When a problem arises, talk it over with God very simply and directly in prayer. Every day, discuss with God in a natural, normal manner the questions that have to be decided and dealt with. This is called prayerizing. Then picturize. Create a realizable wish. People who assume success tend to have success. People who assume failure tend toward failure. When either failure or success is picturized, it strongly tends to actualize equivalent to the mental image pictured. When you picturize, it automatically actualizes.
The fourth technique is to create your own happiness. Who decides whether you shall be happy or unhappy? You do! Anyone who desires it, who wills it, and who learns and applies the right formula may become a happy person. If happiness is determined by your thoughts, it is necessary to drive away the thoughts that create depression and discouragement. Do this first by determining to do it, and then stop being miserable.
The last technique to creating positivity is expecting the best and getting it. This does not mean that by believing you are necessarily going to get everything you want or think you want. Perhaps that would not be good for you. When you put your trust in God, He guides your mind so that you do not want things that are not good for you or that are inharmonious with God’s will.
What it does mean is that when you learn to believe, then that which has seemingly been impossible moves into being possible. At last, every great thing becomes a possibility for you.
I hope these techniques will be useful for you. Make your life positive and embrace the power of positivity.
If everyone can follow the 5 techniques as mentioned, it could make life positive and embrace the power of positivity. It is great to see such deep message from high schooler.
