Starcodes for the week of February 25 – March 3, 2022

This is a pivotal strategic week as Mars, Venus, and Pluto all conjunct in Capricorn under a vulnerable Pisces Sun. The astrological mood is sensitive but determined and important organizational, strategic, and health realities may pivot or clarify by the end of the week. We see what is happening between Russia and the Ukraine. Difficult people are moving upon forward for their long-range plans. We can use the same fresh determination in our own lives and for the world efforts, let’s consider carefully where we want to take this. When in doubt organize. Organize the junk drawer or working system, organize the laundry or a peace movement. Just don’t organize beloveds or a country not your own. Venus and Mars run conjunct in Capricorn through the month of February and can help us love to create systems and make order out of chaos. This external organization can give us a physical model for our mind and heart to do the same.

Control is another Capricorn superpower that needs to be used judiciously. Though some respond to these Plutonian aspects by typing down control because afraid to lose a country, an object, or a person, with Venus and Mars in Capricorn we need to remember that the only thing we can really control is ourselves, not others. Keep that in mind towards the end of the week as that Venus – Mars – Pluto conjunction peaks. That Pluto conjunction could take us to a place of sweet emotional intensity because we love anyway in the face of life-and-death and tough questions. Or because we put some sweat equity into a long – held desire.

Some people and governments will respond to these Plutonian aspects by tightening down control because they’re afraid to lose a country, an object, or person. This could be a moment of powerful and strategic moves on the world stage.

This week is a great time to begin any disciplines or systems, practice any crops. Capricorn likes the goal, whether small, medium, or large. Like a mountain goat- this lineup encourages us to climb a mountain, set a reasonable goal in achieving, or we will tend to wander and get moody. We need to celebrate each step along the way rather than use that goal just to berate ourselves but not yet making it, as being hard on ourselves is another Capricorn habit.

The Capricorn mood, both a clear need for control over one’s own life and a desire to organize the world-can get intense as the Moon enters Capricorn on Friday and intensifies over the weekend as that Moon conjunct Venus, Mars, and Pluto on Sunday.

Early next week the aspects become more cooperative and communal and ask us what we can get done in the world at large as the Moon enters Aquarius and conjunct Mercury and Saturn. Then, on March 1 and 2nd, under a new Moon in Pisces, we become freshly aware of our vulnerabilities and drop into our feelings. The week finishes with intense aspects which can demand we face some personal or political ultimatum and the consequences which follow as the Moon heads into reactive Aries next Friday.

America is in the heart of its first Pluto return, Pluto has come back to where it was July 4, 1776, on the mythic birth of our country. Pluto will hit that point several times this year. We don’t have that much data on the Pluto return because the cycle so huge, but we can remember the last time Pluto reach this point at the end of Capricorn, oppressive levels of governance inspired a revolution and birth our democracy. May democracy experience a rebirth around the globe.
