Starcodes week of March 18-24, 2022

Go gently this morning, it will be easy to feel overwhelmed after an overnight full Moon in Virgo reminded us of everything that needs to be fixed, healed or adjusted. We’ll need to prioritize this morning and deal with what is most important rather than feel overwhelmed by the pile.

The mood grows more sociable by the evening and over the weekend under a friendly Libra Moon, but we still may need to acknowledge our more vulnerable emotions and our empathy with those in harm’s way around the globe. The Sun sextiles Pluto and keeps news of life, death, and war nearby.

The vernal equinox brings a sudden shift in the energy fields. Spring begins as the Sun enters Aries Sunday morning at 9:33 AM MDT, the Moon then enters Scorpio 11 minutes later. Both Aries and Scorpio are intense Mars-ruled and combustible signs, they heat us up and bring fuel to any situation. Conflicts could ratchet up as the week goes by, this volatility can either explode or drive our work forward.

Both Aries and Scorpio are Mars-ruled and combustible signs and bring fuel to any situation. To soften the explosions, or add a more revolutionary and liberating aspect, Mercury conjuncts expansive and liberating Jupiter on Monday. Expanded possibilities resonates through a restless and curious Sagittarius Moon midweek
this Jupiter – Mercury aspects can help us believe in the magic of communication, bring the a sense of hope, uprising, the spring rebellion. It won’t stop the feistiness or lower the heat of an explosion once one gets started, and it won’t magically make the world better. But it can help us talk over tough points and be hopeful enough to see a way through if there is one. It can aid negotiations, but we have to begin them and be willing to participate. Towards the end of the week the Moon enters competent Capricorn which can help us work on any of these new possibilities and make them so.

Venus and Mars run conjunct Aquarius in both square Uranus this week which kicks in with that area spring discontent and helps us explore new patterns. To work together with compassion and for the good of all sentient beings is the gift and the medicine of Venus and Mars in Aquarius. The shadow side of this Aquarius lineup can be collective mobs, disconnected political parties, or deluded armies that do not respond to the needs of the people. This gift can challenge gives us a peek at our work ahead when Pluto heads into Aquarius 2023-2045.

Friday, March 18: An early morning full Moon in Virgo can give us worry dreams or have us wake up with a too long to-do list. We focus more on the people around us and value their presence in our life as the Moon enters friendly Libra midmorning and Venus sextiles Chiron. Look for a potentially bittersweet moment to find the right words and connect from the heart with a loved one. Events shake the dust out of our priorities and ask us to bond over the real stuff as the day progresses and the Sun sextiles Pluto.

Saturday, March 19: It’s a generally sociable day, a great day to get to know new people. but some events may cause us to look at the world differently as it challenges our sense of the status quo while Venus squares Uranus. It could be delightful, or it could be disconcerting. Explore options and keep the mind and heart open. The evening can bring interesting in-depth conversations, people want to touch on what really matters to them as the Moon trine Saturn

Sunday, March 20: This first day of spring can be glorious and still feel heavy, the astrological weather grows stormy as the Sun enters Aries at 9:33 AM, the Moon enters Scorpio 11 minutes later. World hotspots percolate and we may need to deal with unexpected events at home. Go deep, be there for one another. Enjoy the surge of life force but stay out of the middle of a dogfight.

Monday, March 21: Tails twitch, irritation spikes easily. Magical thinking can be a gift when it helps us see possibilities, but not when it clouds our perceptions. Tempers flare when chosen realities are questioned. Choose to simultaneously see both possibilities and be aware of the tough realities of the moment as Mercury conjuncts Jupiter. Conspiracy theories could multiply unless we choose to stay present and ask good questions. Practicalities fuzz out, car keys get lost unless we track them carefully, we can get lost in the fog or create a vision. Put imagination to good use to keep it out of trouble. Confirm perceptions and communication, particularly with those close to the heart. Our boundaries feel permeable in all the ways one can manifest that metaphor.
