Tarot from Conscience (or the Traveling Moth)
A space for tarot reflection for the day, week, or moment it comes across your screen. Each of these is reworked intentionally for The Edge, from the egregore of GroupTarot’s Card of the Week, to center education, diversity, and intuition.

Hello from Diné and Jicarilla Apache lands
also known as New Mexico Albuquerque Metro area.
My parent’s 47th Anniversary was lovely.
I gave a wonderful Group Tarot session for my friends at Joy Map.
Saturday’s NMGT was poignant.
Sunday was a family outing to the Albuquerque market. Local honey, watermelon and mountain spinach have started filling my belly. The train to and from Santa Fe to dance and plan for Mystic Mabon with dear friends, was as delightful as always. One day I’ll just hop off at a different stop and wander until the next train.
Not on a Sunday. There are only three trains on Sundays.
Now, I am a touch distracted as contractors are fixing flooring mistakes they made right outside my library office, but that will not deter Card of the Week!
The same deck that wanted to share at New Moon Group Tarot wants to share today, Lua Tarot by Maree Bento. We are given:
Three of Cups.
Celebrate with your nearest and dearest.
Keep your inner circle close and joyful! Celebrate the lives of those who have passed and the lives of those who are with you, circling, dancing, drinking. It’s ok for this to be an ebb and flow of feelings and actions.
Our fates our intertwined, whether we are aware of it or not. There are many threads of connection.
Dance.
Eat, drink, be merry.
Visit the coast or a body of water. Enjoy being barefoot and feeling the sensations of damp sand between your toes, or grass…
As Emma Goldman is frequently paraphrased – not quoted! Here’s the section of her autobiography referenced – it’s not my revolution if I can’t dance.
For some of us, experiencing and sharing Joy is a radical act. Revel in it! Even if you think you’re undeserving. You deserve to be jubilant. To laugh so hard you cry or loose your breath. To reach ecstasy.
Let’s just be careful and aware of ourselves so we don’t slide into escapism, over indulgence, harmful procrastination, or albatrossing.
How can you bring a little more whimsey into your week? Or keep the forest with you as you go back to the mundane world, so to speak? Let me know in the comments! I am still gathering information on whether y’all are finding these weekly card’s helpful. Want me to continue? Let me know!
