New Virgo Moon

Welcome to your New Virgo Moon exact at 3:15 am 8/27/22. I’m going to say this as gently as I can. Please know I’m not singling you out but I’m talking to the entirety of humanity… You are imperfect! You are flawed! You may be cracked, tarnished, chipped, stained, or otherwise wobbling just a little bit with a replacement part. We have fear, sorrow, anger, and sometimes react from them. They sometimes take over our consciousness rendering us ‘guilty’ of inappropriate or immature action. We don’t know everything. We would like to be supremely wise, especially at times when information we don’t have could really be needed, but again, we are imperfect.

It’s easy to get down on ourselves. We can look in the mirror and say “You could have… You should have… If only you… Why didn’t you sell all your crypto a year ago, loser? Why did you vote for that one person? I knew I should’ve learned trigonometry in school!”

We can say these things to ourselves repeatedly, beating ourselves up, making ourselves feel ‘less than’, and wishing we were somebody greater and wiser. But, we make mistakes. We sometimes let ourselves and other people down. We don’t know everything. Oh, and the world is a freaking mess. Happy day!

Therefore, we are incredibly grateful for this New Virgo Moon where we set into motion a brand new cycle of having enough with all of that! Our motivating operatives shift now towards growth and healthy change. Growth requires us to learn and heal. The definition of human is imperfection. Every single one of us has things that we are learning, growing through, improving upon, and integrating into our being. More than any other creatures on this planet, we humans are capable of growth.

There isn’t a single one of us who does not have something to learn. There’s not a single one of us who hasn’t made a mistake. One beautiful thing about this human life is that we can integrate lessons and transform them into wisdom. If we feel badly about ourselves for the state of our health, we have the power to change it with new, healthy choices! If we let somebody down, we have the power to have a conversation with them, apologize, and move forward! If there are things that we don’t know, all we need to do is watch a YouTube video! I can be a plumber in a few short hours! If we react with fear, sorrow, or anger, we can observe our behavior and make choices in which to change it, or ask for help as to how!

There are Doctors, Teachers, Healers, Astrologers, Farmers, and search engines which can all be of assistance and guidance. We can open up to the wisdom of other people and bring it into ourselves as we flush out our imperfections. We patch the holes in our clothes, mend the fence, stake the tomatoes, do our yoga, and correct our language if it escalates. We are all learning. Harsh names and sharp criticisms negate the growth. Education and encouragement, commitment and responsibility foster growth. Gratitude, humility, self-acceptance, and patience integrate the growth. “All we have to do” is focus on these and we master the art of being a human!

Mistakes become lessons, stumbling blocks become stepping stones, and everything that’s “wrong” is such only as a reminder that we have the power to choose to learn how to make it right. If we keep this up, we just might master our purpose of creating Heaven on Earth! Admittedly, this place can feel like hell sometimes. All the more reason we need to do our right work helping to make the appropriate changes on this crazy planet. Doing our best, helping where we can, picking ourselves up and dusting ourselves off repeatedly, we make baby steps to wholeness. As long as the momentum moves forward, we are on the right path.

With this New Moon, set an intention for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the body, mind, and spirit. Our future selves will thank us profusely for everything we do now. Keep going. Winter is coming.
