NPB is based on the idea that traumatic memories are stored on the cellular level in the physical body, and can be expelled using whole body movement that integrate various regions of the brain.

“I developed the NBP trauma healing technique because talking therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) does not work in healing trauma related experiences, for the reason that traumatic memories are not stored in the cognitive part of the brain,” Dr. Michiyo says. “They get stored at the cellular level and go into the inner brain and become survival processes and reactions. NBP can quickly and effectively heal people of past wounds from hurtful experiences, so that they can activate optimal energy and the capacity to live their lives fully.”

For the first time, Dr. Michiyo is offering an NBP Training and Certification program for counselors, life coaches, and other health-related practitioners starting Jan. 19, 2022. More information and registration is available here

Neuro Bi-lateral Processing is registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It incorporates complex disciplines such as yogic breathing, visualization, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and some EMDR techniques, and can be practiced both virtually and in person. NPB is designed to help people expel painful memories so they can live with higher levels of energy and enthusiasm; increase confidence, competence and productivity; enjoy more loving, compassionate, and caring relationships; and create a meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling life.

“I can say from my own experiences that we cannot exercise our full capacities until we heal our trauma and remove subconscious limiting beliefs,” Dr. Michiyo says. “What a difference it makes to work through our trauma experiences and remove our limiting beliefs.”

In more than 20 years practicing psychotherapy, Dr. Michiyo Ambrosius (SAY Mee-chee-yo, Am-bro-si-us) concluded that conventional talk therapy is ineffective for healing traumatic memories. So the Bay Area clinical psychotherapist set out to find a better way.

Dr. Michiyo developed Neuro Bi-lateral Processing, a new technique that integrates various regions of the brain. She did this decades after escaping parental abuse and trauma as a young woman in Japan by boarding a cargo ship alone with only $200 in her pocket. Today she trains other health professionals in this revolutionary technique. Read on for details and contact [email protected] to request an interview with Dr. Michiyo.
