Welcome to our New Blue Aries Moon!
Sometimes it snows in April. Imagine you’re a seedling popping out of the ground, and you get hit with a mid-April snow. I can picture a seedling with its stem curved and its butt is in the air; its head still in its shell halfway secured to the soil, somewhat insulated amidst its inevitable growth. Like the seedling, there is only one choice: to grow. Snow, fear, adversity, and trepidation or reluctance will not serve us now. We must brave the elements and grow towards the light.

We are all familiar with that one Blue Moon, the one that saw me standing alone, when there are two Full Moons in the same sign, but less familiar is when that occurs with a New Moon. This is the second New Moon in the season of Aries in a row. It is a hybrid solar eclipse, as well. Imagine back to a month ago with the swelling of intention. We have been in a preparation stage since. Like NASCAR engines at the starting line revving, wheels spinning with anticipation on the pavement, ready for the flag to drop and the clearance to move ahead full speed, we are ready for the next chapter, book even, of our life to begin. That time is now.
So, with this Lunation, set an intention of where you want the vehicle of your life to travel. What kind of vehicle are you driving? Four-wheel high performance elevated off road self-built hybrid? A slip under the semi on the freeway Lamborghini? Airplane? Submarine? How well prepared are you? Have your first aid kit? Do you need protective gear? Flak jacket? Aqualung? Just a bandanna and a knife? Where are you headed, where are you going? What is the preposition phrase of your life? Around the tree? Over the hill? Under the rock? Up the mountain? To the seashore?
Now is the time to write the screenplay of our life where we get to choose our wardrobe, co-stars, storyline, and location. Don’t like any of those? Make some changes. It’s our movie. Still, I would be remiss if I did not suggest a potential shadow here. We can’t drive over anyone. We can’t sit in other people’s way. We can’t pressure others into our storyline, nor can we live in two places simultaneously. Natural law and ethics and wisdom exist. Those we cannot defy regardless of our desire. As we jettison across the pond, we must be mindful of our wake. There are as many different stories as there are people on the planet. We can respect others as easily as we expect their respect.
We are at a pivotal moment in our personal evolution. The ‘energies of the cosmos’ are supportive of our right use of will, choice, and action. This life is ours to design. Make your life extraordinary, and all will be well.
