A Light in the Dark.
Everything is wrong. Everything is broken. Possibilities of global conflict are undeniable. The country in which I was born has a representative political system like a three-ring circus. Who represents me? Is there an Astrologer/Flower Farmer in Congress? I’ve been to some major cities lately and flashed to the billboard lined roads in the movie, ‘Brazil’. I don’t really want to go back. I can’t talk politics, generally, without fear of people I love disowning me. I DO suffer from foot-in-mouth disease. The cost of butter is outrageous. Free energy has been around for over 100 years, at least, and we are still trapped in an oil economy because free energy is… free; how would we make money? Was that my foot? Guess I’m wrong. Division is everywhere. Fear is a first response. Microplastics, forever chemicals, and airborne particulates are ubiquitous. Everything is wrong.
That’s where you come in!

That’s why we are here.
It has been said, or I have been told, that one of the reasons we humans exist is to figure out how to make everything right. It has been said that we are tasked to anchor heaven on earth. Even though one source says we were banished from the garden, we have since learned many agricultural skills. As a flower farmer, I know that we are fully capable of creating enormous beauty to the degree we are willing to work for it.
So, now we come to it; the reason you were born. Everything is a mess. Everything is wrong. It’s up to you to make it right. Are you willing to do the work? If not, things won’t change.

No new president will ‘save’ this planet, no matter who they are. It hasn’t happened yet. No movie or music or sports star will give us the funds we need. Can anyone guarantee an immediate end to all war? Can anyone save us all from poverty and crime and mental illness and disease and everything else that’s wrong? It’s obvious no saviors from the past have fully saved us all from ourselves. There is only one savior in the present who can.
You.
Understanding that is the first step with this New Virgo Moon. Acting on that understanding is the next step. Everything is wrong. We have the knowledge to make it right. No philosophy, conjecture, or voting for a savior will change the world. (Please, may they help!) No new policy will bring world peace except the policy of no violence. Your neighbor won’t solve it. Your boss won’t do it. Your mama won’t do it. Only you. Your broom. Your dustpan. Your life.
Like any house, we start in the corner of one room. We crank up the music, put on our fluffy bunny slippers, sip on a delicious homemade beverage, and sweep the heck out of that room, that part of our being. We flip over the cassette tape in our Walkman and hit the next room. With all of the joyous mastery of a Picasso on roller skates, we step out of time for just a moment, speed though the task with precision, and reawaken to a perfectly cleaned house. Moreover, we commit to the maintenance and upkeep necessary to have a welcoming, comfortable, and happy home perpetually! We might even have enough time to help our neighbor mow their lawn because there’s still a couple of songs left on the B side, and we’ve got our groove on!
The external solutions all begin with ourselves. Our hearts need a good scrubbing. Our minds need a little disinfectant. Our bodies need good food, water, and exercise. We start there. We get organized. We harvest the garden. We save our seeds. We freeze the homemade salsa. Then we help others. We keep our music going. We celebrate our fluffy bunny slippers. We dance. Then we clean something else. We are loving. We chop wood. We carry water. And that is the most enlightened and Earth-changing thing we can do.
Get to work. Remember to whistle while you work. To the degree we all do this as individuals, is the degree the whole world will be clean. Make this our intention for this lunar cycle and we just may see some results.
