Happy July!
And Happy New Year to all who celebrate. We just passed the Islamic New Year and they are heading into year 1447, so before we look at our Theatre Oracle Card for the month, let’s do the numerology for this New Year and see how it plays with the Hermit year all of us in 2025 are flowing with.
1 + 4 + 4 + 7 = 16 = Tower
1 + 6 = 7 = Chariot
Oooh… have kindness and compassion towards the Muslims in your life, they may have a big year of displacement and movement due to circumstances outside their control like natural disasters and bombings.
In fact as I write this, friend’s parents are currently in an underground bunker trying to stay safe as best they can, as Trump bombs Iran. They are truly living an embodiment of Tower/Chariot/Hermit in combination with each other, although I do not know if they are alone underground.
Another more empowered side of The Tower is intentional demolition. In partnership with The Chariot, they may literally take the best with them somewhere else to rebuild better. Which is a great reminder for all of us.
Take what works. Leave what doesn’t. Review your life and circumstances – to the best of your ability knowing what is possible in my green back yard is VASTLY different from those being bombed throughout the world.

Ghost Center Stage
When I first pulled this card for July back in January during Oracle Days, I really felt the push/pull of movement to stillness. The sensation of being in an empty 3000 seat theatre. Noticing all the little dots of house lights in the audience watching our ghost and ghost light. I wondered whether in July we’d need to run back to somewhere we were in June…
I do still feel the sense of movement and it’s hard to tell whether it’s coming or going, also from what I’ve been told a sensation felt in warlike situations. I know the directions because I am that ghostly image, however just looking at the blur, it’s harder to tell. If we find ourselves not knowing whether we’re coming or going this month, that’s a great place for tarot and oracle to help clarify priorities and direction.
Creating this image – as well as the series that will be in The Theatre Oracle expansion pack – was my FAVORITE part of the photoshoot with my union sister Dana West. This photo is a testimony to how INCREDIBLY still she can be. She actually took this picture standing & holding the camera. No tripod. No touch up’s or sharpening in post. Those perfectly crisp seats and exquisitely parallel lines of the balcony are all her skill, breath, and body control.
I got to move and dance and twirl.
Obviously, the stage is not a sprung floor.
Both stillness and movement were needed to create this image. Our July is likely to need the same.
