Our Evolutionary Destiny from Human to Divine

Evolution is a vast subject of study that appears to have morphed many times over the years as scientists, philosophers and researchers continue to make new discoveries year after year. Growing up as kids, we learned that we are human and part of humanity. We also learned that we are mortal, that we live for so many years and eventually die.

What is interesting is that most western based knowledge streams basically stop when death comes into the equation as scientists do not quite know how to look beyond the senses and matter. There is still much about life, and the beyond which is unexplored country. Our oceans are much the same as we have only explored a small portion to date. The beyond is waiting to avail itself to those who have the eyes to see and the awakened intuitive faculty to understand.

Our schoolteachers may have taught us that our planet was the only planet in the universe that hosted life. Looking back, we were probably told many things and thankfully, not all of them are correct. The reach of science is expanding by the day, and new frontiers are opening up across many fields of study. As we grew up and evolved from kids to adults, we have probably learned many new things. Life is fluid, it cannot be put in a box as it is always changing and evolving as our awareness, wisdom and knowledge expands.

There are always new discoveries taking place, sometimes rewriting old thoughts and assumptions with new material. Fortunately, through the medium of a good teacher, book, TV show or a documentary, we have become aware of some people who have evolved and far exceeded the average human mold to become exceptional in one way or another. This could be someone of high intelligence like Einstein or Davinci or a creative musical genius like Beethoven. It could also be someone with great physical ability, mental-psychic ability or someone who has lived beyond the age of one hundred years.

In this article, we will explore going beyond these lofty altitudes to the undreamed heights and abilities of a divine super-being. Believe it or not, right now on this earth, there are very advanced humans who go way beyond what the imagination of most people could conceive. These divine super-humans have discovered scientific-spiritual methods to accelerate evolution to go from human to divine, from mortal to immortal and from third dimensional to multi-dimensional and omnipresence.

Some of these advanced souls have more powers than superman. The most fascinating thing about these super-humans or awakened souls is they have no desire for power, fame, riches or glory. If they did, they would be hindered and not be able to rise to such stratospheric heights. An ego-inflated person who is full of greed, fear, pride, anger or selfishness, these traits block the soul’s ability to expand and grow into its full potential.

These super-advanced souls in human bodies are the perfect expression of humility as this world of temptation has no sway on them. They have no interest in race, creed, color, religion or what political party someone belongs to. They see us as One universal family of fellow brothers and sisters of spirit.

They deeply care about us and want to help us awaken to our infinite potential. They are in the world but not of this world of matter. Some of them live in isolated places and are rarely seen by the masses. When spirit guides these souls, they may venture into the world and show up at places or spiritual events like the Kumbh Mela in India. These divine beings are messengers to help spread God’s holy message of redemption and peace to the world. They also help to keep the world in balance against the forces of darkness and delusion.

Some of these beings have been on this earth for hundreds of years, maybe a thousand years or more. Some of their advanced qualities would be slowing down the biological clock or stopping it, stopping the heart and respiratory system at will and arresting bodily decay, changing the atomic density of the body, and traveling beyond the speed of light. That includes anywhere in this universe and beyond, to the higher vibratory realms where angels live. If they do not want to be seen by the masses, they can change the body’s vibration to become invisible to the human eye. These are just some of the extraordinary powers that are available to our advanced brothers and sisters who walk amongst us.

These advanced souls do not use the powers given to them at a whim or for personal gain, but only with the blessings and grace of God. They are perfect channels of God’s unlimited intelligence, power, healing energy and love. These exalted beings all share the same common message; “that divine union with spirit and its resulting omnipresent awareness and powers are not the privilege of just a few; they are available to All God’s children.”

Jesus, one of the most well-known saints to walk this earth, referred to this when he said “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do through the father in me”. Bhagavan Krishna was another well-known saint who lived thousands of years before Jesus. Another name or divine title for these advanced beings would be Avatar.

Isn’t it refreshing to know that each one of us has the seed of Gods infinite potential within us. It has been stamped upon our very DNA. It is patiently waiting to evolve and awaken under the proper conditions. The challenge is that past programming and the delusive nature of this body and world can get in the way. This limited programming could have come from schools, parents, peers, and the world along our own false image “ego” that can get in the way of seeing ourselves in our true light of perfection. For those who have been on the spiritual path for a time, they can attest to the difficulty of dislodging faulty belief systems. But it can and needs to be done in order to awaken to our divine potential.

As the law of evolution marches on and on, each person will eventually have to retrace his/her steps on the inward path to awakening perfection. With the right spiritual tools, devotion and discipline, it can be achieved in the span of one lifetime. On the other hand, if one has no strong desire to give up the lesser earthly baubles, desires and titles for the eternal kingdom of inner happiness, it could take many lifetimes to achieve this most lofty goal. The speed at which we awaken depends on our willingness and desire for change along with the grace of God.

So, how do we ordinary humans go about becoming an awakened divine being? Well, the easiest and fastest way is to follow in the same footsteps of those humble saints and avatars who left their ecstatic footprints in the sands of time. The ancient Rishis of India were spiritual scientists who discovered the royal path and how to speed up evolution.

There are others as well who have risen to enlightenment over the millennia. Some of them are on this earth now at God’s bequest, silently blessing and helping humanity to ascend the spiral stairway of wakefulness from darkness to light. Some have transcended this material plane and moved on to other dimensions and planets that are of a higher vibrational energy and not accessible to us in our current state of material body awareness.

To go within and discover this infinite resource of wisdom, peace and happiness is our divine birthright. This divine gift no person can acquire with money or earthly power. Also, no one can hand this supreme gift to us; we must work hard for it, possibly harder than we have ever worked. It is like the person who has the goal of climbing Mt. Everest. You can set a plan today, but without any climbing experience or an advanced endurance level, it is not going to happen anytime soon. Those who put in the hard work and effort can reach those lofty heights, which gives a view that those at sea level can hardly imagine.

To reach this supreme level of human-divine evolution, we need the help and blessings of God, a Guru and the saints to help us navigate our way up the spiritual path to enlightenment. These saintly beings are ready to help when we are sincere in our desire to change. Since this author has not reached those lofty levels yet and can only provide limited details, he would recommend reading the book “The Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda. This book truly opened his eyes and changed his life. It has inspired many lives including that of Steve Jobs of Apple. As a young adult, Paramahansa Yogananda met with many great avatars, saints and yogi master’s in India. He describes in detail these meetings and the wonderous experiences in his autobiography. Paramahansa, his Guru Swami Sri Yukteswarji and the line of Self Realization Fellowship Param Gurus are known to be avatars who evolved to this highest level of consciousness from human to divine while in human bodies.

Even though some of them have left their earthly bodies behind, they are still actively working to help the human race to evolve. As they have merged in spirit and omnipresence, they are highly aware of everything going on. Through deep prayer, devotion and meditation, one can contact these Avatars and receive their blessings. So, my fellow readers, it is both our birthright and our destiny to evolve to our higher self. My Guru’s Paramguru, Swami Sri Yukteswar’s famous quote from the book “Autobiography of Yogi” stated “Everything in future will improve if you are making a spiritual effort now.” If you have not started this conscious spiritual effort yet, it is important to begin as soon as possible as human life is short and unpredictable. By steadily reaching for the light, we become greater channels of Gods light along with his wisdom, love, peace and prosperity.
