Starcodes for the week of February 20-26, 2026
The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are now in sensitive Pisces, a time which normally marks the low-energy dregs of winter where we cuddle up to seed catalogues, dream of travel plans, take care of our health, and wait for spring to begin. That dreamy sensitivity does underpin this time, we could long to hit that neutral button, particularly as Mercury appears to slow down to turn retrograde late Wednesday. Already our thinking can feel like wading through deep snow, demanding we slow down and become more mindful.
But this year we’re rolling with changes, we’re right in the middle of a highly-charged, dynamic Saturn-Neptune conjunction in the first degree of Aries, the beginning of the zodiac, exact as the weekend begins. The week ends with a flammable Mars-Uranus square just as Mercury retrogrades. This year is packed with era-changing aspects that just won’t quit.
Saturn and Neptune have only conjunct in Aries 3 times over the last 2000 years, and it’s been far longer since they conjunct at this first degree. This heralds a feisty time of fires and quick battles, competing visions (Neptune) of security and authority (Saturn), but can also offer opportunities to melt (Neptune) old systems of governing (Saturn) and create new ones with a more visionary approach.
When we think of Saturn, we think of bones, teeth, personal authority, walls, the structures which form our world, which both perpetuate- and prevent -abuse of authority. Neptune speaks of our spirituality, creativity, our psychic sensitivity, but it also speaks of our addictions. Aries re-invents; it can be both militantly macho and revolutionarily egalitarian. This conjunction begins a 35-year cycle which asks us to look at our addictions to escapist habits and fossil fuels (Neptune), to question how we care for water (Neptune), and to add disciplined action (Saturn) to our compassion (Neptune).
The weekend begins as the Moon joins Saturn and Neptune in restless Aries. Check the headlines like you would a dream, for symbolic metaphors for this next 35-year cycle.
The Moon enters sensuous, stubborn, comfort-loving Taurus on Saturday and slows us down, helps us get back in our body. As Venus in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer, it will be healthy to take a break from political focus and tend to personal lives. Just keep interpersonal expectations reasonable because it is so easy to misunderstand one another.
On Monday night, the Moon enters nervy Gemini and can help us multitask to clear the decks before Mercury retrogrades. It’s important to get right with one another, feel understood, and straighten out old bills now. But if we start dropping papers or forgetting where we’re going, let’s slow down. Late on Wednesday, as Mercury retrogrades and the Moon enters sensitive Cancer, people’s defenses sharpen. If we’re feeling touchy or endangered, check the facts, find out what people really meant to say before reacting.
Active, strident Mars moves into a square with chaotic Uranus at the end of the week, just as Mercury stations, making it a perfect time for accidents, shocking comments, or repressive moves that will have to retracted later. Stay calm and make this time a meditation in mindfulness. Prioritize safety in driving and conversation, drive defensively, stay alert around anything that could feel explosive or accidental. Think dynamic safety, these aspects can also blow open blocks and take us to a good place. Then follow through on work in progress and take a break while Mercury retrogrades.

Friday, February 20: An active Aries Moon keeps us hopping, keeps this day action-packed. Choose carefully where to stand down and where to take a stand. Watch for oppressive, dream-limiting action on the big screen. Put work into a personal dream as Saturn conjuncts Neptune exactly this morning and felt all springtime. Any sweat equity we put into our visions can seed this next cycle with what we want to grow, this can help prevent others from controlling our vision forward.

Saturday, February 21: Don’t tell other people what to do this morning, make them curious Spontaneity is essential to our soul under this self-directing Aries Moon. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Pisces whisper to us to lounge in bed, drift, and dream, while the Aries line-up demands we both be more spontaneous and activate towards some deeper longing. Our future needs action now. Find a balance between. The mood stabilizes and grows more practical this afternoon as the Moon enters Taurus and can grow positively cuddly and delicious over dinner. Late night grows more thoughtful, subdued, as the Moon squares Pluto.

Sunday, February 22: A most romantic, loving, Venus in Pisces trines expansive Jupiter in Cancer; invest in art, affection, aesthetics, and compassionate action. People love being loved. But stay in the present and stay proactive, not passive; this aspect can inflate our expectations or longings and bring a subsequent disappointment with our lot in life. We can notice both women in leadership roles, and resentment towards women from those who do not know how to deal with their own Venusian nature. We can long for the world to come romance us when it’s really time for us to take loving action and care for our world.
Venus trine Jupiter 1:01 PM, Moon sextile Jupiter 6:55 PM, Moon sextile Venus 7:31 PM
Monday, February 23: Our thoughts can be as hard to corral as a bowl of puppies this morning as the Moon conjuncts Uranus then enters nervy, verbal Gemini tonight. It’s important to assess the week ahead and tie up loose ends now. Multitask but be careful not to drop important threads. Prioritize following up dangling emails and messages, all important communications. People may have a harder time talking about their feelings, but it can leak in around the edges; acknowledge the emotions, do not try to talk them out of it but know that logic and heart are syncopating, not waltzing.
Moon sextile Mercury 5:50 AM, Moon square Mars 10:18 AM, Moon conjunct Uranus 3:28 PM, Moon enters Gemini 7:28 PM, Moon sextile Neptune 8:57 PM, Moon sextile Saturn 9:25 PM.
Tuesday, February 24: We can feel spread too thin like a smidge of butter on dry toast, feeling like we may have to kind of juggle too many plates in the air as the Gemini Moon squares the Sun, both in nervy, immutable signs. Even if we can concentrate, it’s likely that the people we’re working with will have trouble staying focused. Rest the nerves. Sort priorities and track with care, drop what’s not essential for the moment. Be kind to others who are also feeling stretched too thin. Enjoy wide-ranging conversations tonight, but don’t expect them to get to the point.
Moon trine Pluto 2:55 AM.
Wednesday, February 25: Hurry up and slow down; as the Gemini Moon squares Mercury and Venus this morning, our energy scatters easily, anxiety stirs in the corners, and our brains can feel like they are racing through molasses. Research ideas and mull over feelings but avoid decisions. Let the world whirl but channel the calm in the center of the storm. By midday, the Moon trines Mars and we may have more energy to direct ourselves. We may have some feelings to catch up with, our defenses can spike, so speak with kindness and watch a tendency to project feelings onto others as Mercury stations retrograde and the Moon enters moody Cancer later tonight. If words aren’t quite working, share love with comfort food and care.
Moon square Venus 3:09 AM, Moon square Mercury 9:33 AM, Moon trine Mars 3:59 PM, Moon enters cancer 10:10 PM, Moon square Neptune 11:47 PM, Mercury retrogrades 11:47 PM.
Thursday, February 26: We could have to deal with frustrations, minor accidents, shocking events, and uncentered, turbulent nerves unless we let this day be a meditation of calm centering. Mercury retrogrades as Mars squares Uranus. Movement can slow down or stop us. Mechanical snafus get worse if we flail around. Find the infinite in this moment. Prioritize safety and caring compassion; when we’re upset or in a hurry, we can make mistakes or say things that we didn’t mean, start a war, or spark a propane factory. This same spark can help us push past a block, just do so with safety in mind.
