Starcodes for the week of March 6-12, 2026

If our hearts feel like they are on fire this week, let’s make it a smudge offering, pour out our love for the world as a healing incense. Emotional Venus conjuncts Neptune and Saturn all in sparky fire-sign Aries and provide bountiful astrological fuel. This can be dangerous as Mercury retrogrades through March 20, making it hard to get the real facts or to make patient wise decisions. Which can leave a right mess. Check the headlines in the morning because most of the major aspects this week occur at night.

With Mercury retrograde, the wise make short-term decisions and do not trigger long-term problems. Decisions made now may be second-guessed later, need to be reversed, or could be regrettable. Just look at the mid-east. So, keep yours short-term, tend to work already on the table. and think through long-term consequences before making any move. When in doubt, hold still and let the smoke clear before proceeding.

These three planets in Aries, this flaming Bunsen-burner heat, can bring miracles of compassion or spark spring fever, it can turn up the heat on loving appreciation of an old friend or partner and add passion to our public opinions. But it also adds fuel to ongoing conflicts. Neptune, now in Aries for the next thirteen years, insists we wrestle with a Neptunian idealization of Aries war. Saturn conjunct Neptune through the spring suggests stalled storm systems and calls for wise psychological and spiritual discipline as a redirect of this fire and fog and asks us to wrestle with our addictions. As the modern world now wrestles with its addiction to fossil fuels. Let this wrestling inspire a search for healthier alternatives.

The only planet now in an earth sign is chaotic Uranus, which doesn’t really count as a tool for practicality. Aspects to it point to the earth moving, so watch for geological events. Any grounding action can help us balance our energy, so chop wood, carry water, do taxes, feed the dog; it all helps form a stronger vessel for our psyche and for these fiery aspects. Spring is just getting started.

The weekend begins under a warmer Libra Moon which offers potential for diplomacy until the Moon heads into Scorpio Friday night. Expect to face some dark corners over the weekend as our feelings deepen, but do not spiral into the dark side. Stay real with people, share from the heart in a clear way as Venus conjuncts Neptune. Our intuition is strong, but so is our imagination, and the tricky is knowing the line between the two.

Monday brings fresh possibilities under the Sagittarius Moon with international views and important conversations as Mercury trines Jupiter, but that may not look like we hope. On Tuesday Jupiter turns direct after a long retrograde and may be able to soften some of the nationalistic fervor, though we could see over-abundance, floods, overflows first. Midweek, make progress on cooperation and short-term plans before the Moon enters Capricorn on Thursday and stimulates more organizational competence, but also more control issues and arguments over who is in charge. Hold on to a vision of healthy change in the future.

Friday, March 6: Emotional decisions without much logic can be triggered by an abundance of feeling with little grounding. Mercury and the Sun run together in sensitive, perceptive Pisces which can make our minds softly poetic, or just soft, while our emotions run fierce and strong as Venus steps into Aries. Make diplomatic overtures this afternoon, let people share strong feelings but work out any snafus in family or departmental communications while the Moon is in equanimous Libra. The Moon enters Scorpio tonight where it instigates a more pointed, self-protective introspection and a search to solve mysteries, but can bring less forgiving grace. We may need to face our darker concerns, our deeper worries, and our more passionate considerations. It could be a wild night on the international stage, hold peace in the heart.

Venus enters Aries 3:45 AM MST, Moon enters Scorpio 9:01 PM.

Saturday, March 7: Most of today’s aspect occur before dawn, so check the headlines. Our perceived vulnerability, as a person or a country, can provoke astounding defenses. On one level, we can understand and speak about our deepest feelings as Mercury conjuncts the Sun in sensitive Pisces and forms an introspective grand trine with Jupiter in Cancer and the Scorpio Moon. If we need to express, write, paint our life story, grieve, this flow helps. But objectivity is challenging under this grand trine in water signs, it could exacerbate jealousy and revenge. If people seem lost in their inner world, and anyone might need time within, don’t take it personally but do let them know they’re loved and wanted when they return to shore. Allow for room to wander whether within or without this afternoon. Grounding helps.

Sun conjunct Mercury 4:01 AM MST, Venus conjunct Neptune 4:27 AM, Moon trine Mars 4:32 AM, Moon square Pluto 6:13 AM.

Sunday, March 8: Insecurity or resentment can flash, but so will appreciation for those who really show up, who do what they say they will. Whether it’s to ourselves or others, we could deal with a fear of being disappointed or disappointing. Venus conjunct Saturn can make people feel they have something to prove. Instead of letting this get us into trouble, let’s show off our best. Don’t withhold, do offer honest and rounded feedback. It’s therapeutic to practice our art form- writing, cooking, drawing, singing, carving, or building Legos. Tonight, we can get that uncomfortable chip off our shoulder and connect more comfortably as Mercury trines optimistic Jupiter. It may be tempting to crack a joke at someone’s vulnerability, but don’t.

Moon trine Jupiter 3:45 AM MST, Moon trine Mars 5:16 AM, Venus conjunct Saturn 7:39 AM, Moon trine Sun 9:41 AM, Mercury trine Jupiter 11:23 PM.

Monday, March 9: The energy shifts, we’re more extroverted, more globally aware, less turned inward as the week begins and the Moon enters broadening Sagittarius. Here it sextiles Neptune, Saturn, and Venus. Take advantage of friendly short-term opportunities, bless good will, and get outside. While it’s not time to implement long-term plans it’s a great time to Investigate possibilities. Late afternoon and dinnertime can open heart doors, share warmth as the Moon trines Venus and sextiles Pluto, then speak and drive more judiciously as the Moon squares Mars late tonight.

Moon opposed Uranus 5:27 AM MST, Moon enters Sagittarius 9:36 AM, Moon trine Neptune 12:21 PM, Moon trine Saturn 3:14 PM, Moon trine Venus 6:34 PM, Moon sextile Pluto 7:12 PM, Moon square Mars 9:36 PM.

Tuesday, March 10: Recent tough events help us know our heart as Venus sextiles Pluto. We’re not going to sweat the small stuff because we feel deeply, we care more, and this clarifies our priorities. It can inspire action, but be assertive, not aggressive. Bond over things that matter while people are heart-connected. Words may be confusing so project honesty from the heart’s true intentions, it cuts through the fog. Jupiter turns direct tonight, which can mean an overflow of things and feelings. It also brings a call for freedom but without an agreement on what that freedom means.

Venus sextile Pluto 12:51 AM MST, Moon square Mercury 12:58 PM, Jupiter stations direct 9:29 PM.

Wednesday, March 11: So much incoming information can make it hard to track what’s really going on. Look for the common thread. Morning is nervy, indecisive- or maybe we have too many small decisions to make. We can feel overloaded unless we keep a clear sense of humor and just focus on the necessary next step as the Sagittarius Moon squares the Pisces Sun under this retrograde Mercury. If feeling scattered- slow down, find center, let the dust settle, then let life be less juggling and more of a dance. As the Moon approaches Capricorn tonight, we can soothe ourselves by getting organized, if even in just one corner. Just don’t organize others.

Moon square Sun 3:38 AM MST, Moon enters Capricorn 10:06 PM.

Thursday, March 12: Some of us will just feel difficult today, others have to deal with those who are acting difficult as the Capricorn Moon squares Neptune Saturn and Venus. Organize as therapy; order in our world helps the brain find order within. Relationships are tested by any attempt to organize or judge them for their choices, so just sympathize and take care of one’s own personal business. Communication gets easier in the afternoon as the Moon sextiles Mars and Mercury and gives us more room to see what’s going on.

Moon square Neptune 1:02 AM MST, Moon square Saturn 4:20 AM, Moon square Venus one 58 PM, Moon sextile Mars 2:15 PM, Moon sextile Mercury 9:07 PM.
