Why More Minnesotans Are Turning to Sound Healing: Nationally Recognized Gong Master Headlines Maple Grove VIP Experience
A rare immersive sound healing journey kicks off the 11th Annual Maple Grove Psychic & Holistic Expo, offering a powerful evening of deep relaxation, nervous system restoration, and authentic connection.
MAPLE GROVE, MN (July 14, 2026) – In a world where stress, burnout, and constant distraction have become the norm, more people are seeking meaningful ways to slow down, reconnect, and restore their well-being. This summer, one of the Midwest’s most respected sound practitioners is bringing a rare immersive experience to Maple Grove.
On Friday, July 24, 2026, Nationally recognized Gong Master and Certified Himalayan Singing Bowl Teacher Frank D. Christina will present “Resonance: An Immersive Sacred Sound Journey,” an intimate VIP experience preceding the 11th Annual Maple Grove Psychic & Holistic Expo.
Held at the Maple Grove Community Center, the evening combines a relaxed VIP social gathering with a deeply restorative 90-minute sound journey designed to help participants release stress, quiet the mind, and reconnect with themselves through the transformative power of vibration.
Unlike many modern sound bath experiences, Christina’s work is rooted in more than five decades of study, research, and hands-on practice. His training has taken him from the Boston School of Electronic Music to Nepal, where he studied Himalayan sound traditions alongside respected teachers, monks, and cultural practitioners.
“People often think they’re coming to hear instruments,” said Christina. “What they’re actually experiencing is an intuitive journey created specifically for the people in the room. Every experience is different because every group brings its own energy.”

Using Himalayan singing bowls, sacred gongs, tuning forks, bells, chimes, and voice, Christina creates immersive experiences that many participants describe as deeply calming, emotionally restorative, and profoundly transformative.
“Today’s wellness movement is about much more than self-care,” said Kelly Wagner, publisher of The Edge Magazine and co-producer of the event. “People are searching for authentic experiences that help them reconnect – with themselves, with others, and with a greater sense of purpose. Frank’s work offers exactly that.”
