Starcodes for the week of November 6-12, 2026

The whole world is changing over these three years as Uranus and Pluto trine five times between last July and May 2028, the second beat to that rhythm resonates this month. We are not going back to an old way, but the future is in metamorphosis. We have so much to adapt to and help direct. Five planets are retrograde right now ask us to consolidate, repair, organize, and prepare, rather than try to leap forward impatiently. Soon.

A new chapter in this book of change begins mid-November, but right now we need patience and work to get ready for a busy winter ahead. It’s time to catch up on all that was put on hold during the scary and celebratory Halloween and election cycle. Reconnect with a place in our soul that we may have been too busy to honor, a place of Scorpionic depth.

Mercury and Venus, now retrograde, turn direct November 13th, and give the green light to leap forward. Until then the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio want us to drop our roots, go into the wells within, to our dream world, our memories, and into the depths of our feelings. Not to reinscribe old pain, though that can be tempting, but to look at our past with fresh eyes, find lost resources and skills, and bring forward these gems. Remember that we are multidimensional, complex personal tesseracts moved through time and space. Then, clean our closets, complete old work, catch up with old friends, and be ready to roll next week.

Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn are also retrograde for a while longer, but they affect us more on an existential-metaphysical scale than through daily snafus. When any planet is retrograde it asks us to review our life, we buck into them when we refuse to take that break and consolidate our progress.

Along with Mercury and Venus turning direct on November 13th, Mars in Leo approaches conjunction with Jupiter and energizes us all month, peaking on November 15. This conjunction builds competition, momentum, panache, and the potential for aggressive or assertive moves. It can bring opportunity, if one comes along, take that challenge, but keep the receipts and read the fine print. Stay safe and organize for an interesting leap forward soon.

This Mars-Jupiter conjunction occurs within a degree of Trump’s natal Mars and ascendant, so watch for an explosion within or without mid-month and look for evidence as to how these next few months and years will unwind.

While Mercury is retrograding in focused-obsessive Scorpio, some hidden or shadow resentments can complicate our politics and personal situations. Own the ghosts, acknowledge feelings, but don’t let them run the show.

Double down on Mercury retrograde survival skills this next week because those snafus can get thicker at the end of the cycle. It’s easy to drop the ball on important things and we can take offense when other people don’t follow through or don’t respond to our waylaid messages. Strange accidents can proliferate when we’re distracted. Let’s stay situationally aware, confirm facts, confirm appointments, and assume complications rather than malevolence unless we have real evidence otherwise.

starcodes astrology reading for the week of November 6 through 12 by Heather Roan Robbins

Friday, November 6: This diplomatic, social day starts on a serious note after the Moon opposed Saturn overnight, we could feel old, remember work to accomplish, responsibilities to be fulfilled. Don’t let that take the joy out of the moment though, respond simply and with a warm heart and consistent action. Search for hopefulness and joy in the moment this afternoon and see the worth in each other’s eyes tonight as the Moon approaches a conjunction to Venus. Create beauty, be happy to see one another, and talk about the potential for our society.

Moon opposed Saturn 12:11 AM MST.

Saturday, November 7: Sweet aspects overnight help us come to our hearts and begin the day creatively. Luxuriate an extra moment; to not hurry is a great goal. Midday, connect, repair, prepare. Tonight, create magic. Although we just celebrated Halloween, this is the true cross-quarter day in the middle of Scorpio. The waning Moon enters Scorpio mid-afternoon. This dark of the Moon can be a deeply introspective, internal, time, good for privacy, intimacy, to do deep work, tell ghost stories, and face our shadows. We can go deep either with introspection, with investigation, or with depression as the Moon opposes Pluto tonight. If we’ve experienced a recent loss this can be tough, and some people may choose to blame everyone else – which can get messy- or live wildly like a wolf is chasing them. The more we can take personal responsibility, explore these depths, and learn from them, the faster this progresses.

Moon sextile Mars 12:01 AM MST, Moon conjunct Venus 3:49 AM, Moon sextile Jupiter 6:19 AM, Moon enters Scorpio 3:39 PM, Moon opposes Pluto 9:44 PM.

Sunday, November 8: Let’s not rush, we might need to integrate feelings recently stirred up as the Scorpio Moon conjuncts retrograde Mercury early this morning. We can feel like we’re living in two worlds, with one foot in the dream world or ancient past, and one not particularly efficient foot in this world. Listen to those inner wanderings and give them time to tell their story. Hold still. Later, use curiosity to solve a mystery, watch mystery stories, find missing items surfacing from the far corners.

Moon conjuncts Mercury 6:01 AM MST.

Monday, November 9: The Sun and Moon in Scorpio conjunct just after midnight and begin a new cycle of focus. Our minds obsess easily, let’s make sure they obsess on something productive. Primal emotions stir, both the best and most difficult, as Venus sextiles Mars. Flirtations spark as do resentments where we don’t feel appreciated. Help beloveds feel treasured as partnerships can be tested. Honor time alone as a treasure, not a rejection. Find something positive to appreciate in beloveds and friends, both for their health and ours. This suspicious energy can help us unearth hidden information, Machiavellian plans, and lost items; Look under the rocks.

Tuesday, November 10: Waiting is hard. Stay patient even as fresh upbeat enthusiasm enters while the Sagittarius Moon trines Neptune and Saturn and opposes Uranus. We can now see further ahead but Mercury retrograde asks us to prepare rather than gallop. Unsettling restlessness can trigger undiplomatic honesty midday but could help us correct a problem or misdirection. Just because it’s true doesn’t mean we have to say it, think it through, and prioritize momentum rather than scoring points. Be funny, be honest, but be kind.

Moon enters Sagittarius 1:35 AM MST, Moon trine Neptune 5:19 AM, Moon sextile Pluto 7:56 AM MST, Moon opposed Uranus 10:04 AM, Moon trine Saturn 6:47 PM.

Wednesday, November 11: Leap carefully as the Sagittarius Moon trines Mars and Chiron, and demands action, while the retrograde planets still slow us down. Our nerves could feel off center as Mercury quincunx Uranus; stay aware of surroundings, allow extra time, check twice, and track loose items thoughtfully. It’s easy to get distracted. Hearts are warm, even helpful, but could have trouble around wounded egos, especially where we felt insecure or underappreciated as Mars conjuncts the south node in Leo. Evening softens as the Moon sextiles Venus, connect with an old friend, book, cause, or pastime.

Jupiter conjuncts the South node 1:29 PM MST, Moon sextiles Venus 11:11 PM.

Thursday November 12: The mood can be sharp-edged, intelligent, with a sardonic streak, though our minds will tend to spin in witty but not particularly effective circles as Venus stations in Libra and Mercury stations in Scorpio- close to a square to Pluto. Drive defensively and stay aware. Conspiracy theories spin, but a streak of honesty in the morning- and a streak of efficiency in the afternoon as the Moon enters Capricorn- help us cut through the haze. Expect some turbulence as Mercury and Venus leave retrograde and turn direct tomorrow, stay calm, and play decisions for the long haul.

Moon trine Mars 134 MST, Moon trine Jupiter 4/28 MST, Moon enters Capricorn 1:26 PM, Moon square Neptune 5:12 PM, Moon sextile Mercury 1140 PM.
