The public is invited to the Sedona World Wisdom Days festival on January 15-19 over Martin Luther King weekend at the Sedona Performing Arts Center to experience a series of brilliant thinkers and visionaries who will positively impact your life and worldview.

Sedona World Wisdom Days features world-renowned experts who will present innovative thought-provoking live presentations, including: TV icon Norman Lear; Grammy Award winning musician India.Arie; four-time Olympic Gold Medalist diver and motivational speaker Greg Louganis; bestselling author of Conscious Evolution, Barbara Marx Hubbard; Comedy’s Central’s Kyle Cease, known for his Healing with Laughter seminars; and former NFL linebacker turned Yogi, Keith Mitchell.

In addition, Tony Award winner for Avenue Q, Jeff Marx, spiritual teachers and bestselling authors Arielle Ford, James Twyman, Rickie Byars Beckwith and many others will also be a part of this year’s festival.

Countless businesses, restaurants, galleries and shops have come together to co-create and sponsor Sedona World Wisdom Days, including the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, Goldenstein Art Gallery, L’Auberge Resort, Enchantment Resort, Chef Lisa Dahl, and others.

The event has been coined as “TED Talks, Sedona style,” co-founder Jerry Gilden says.

The festival brings together these leading edge teachers and brilliant visionaries of our time to engage in conversations about living consciously and peacefully in a world sometimes filled with chaos.

Sedona is known not only for its magnificent red rocks but for the potent energy that emanates from the many vortexes all around the city. People travel from all over the world to experience the energy, meditate and learn more about the positive impact this sacred land has on their mind, body and spirit.

Lear is renowned for his social commentary and sometimes controversial sitcoms, such as “All in the Family,” “The Jefferson’s,” “Good Times” and “Maude.” The four-time Emmy Award winner was honored by President Bill Clinton with the National Medal of Arts. “Norman Lear has held up a mirror to American Society and changed the way we look at it,” President Clinton said at the time.
