Starcodes for the week of April 10-16, 2026
Let’s hold a peaceful world in our minds and hearts this week, and be very careful what sparks we strike, there’s a lot of fuel swirling in the energy fields. Mars has just joined the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron in feisty, impulsive Aries and Mercury heads into Aries mid-week. On Wednesday the waning Moon enters Aries, making it six planets and an asteroid in Aries, a whole lot of fire. Aries brings the bravery of the bulbs pushing up through the soil knowing there still might be another frost. It brings the courage to love fiercely and to bring lambs and calves into a tough world. This much Aries can also lower our impulse control, spark fires, inflame conflict and fuel action.
We can do divination by headlines. When we see the world bubbling with conflict, we know that’s the ambient matrix our psyches swim within. We can’t stop the energy, but we can direct it. It can be harder to take that energy and convert it into productive exploration, joy, passionate connection, but we can do that.
This Aries can create powerful momentum; it helps to know where we’re going. But we could race straight into a fog bank with cliffs and a mine field as Mars and Mercury conjunct confusing Neptune. We need to look carefully at where the road leads before we build up speed. Quite literally- we can expect long Mercurial debates over Mars-inspired conflicts around water and oil, two Neptunian components.
Unfortunately, all this Aries fire doesn’t mean we always feel energized. Our enthusiasm will come in fits and bursts, loan us short-term hyper focus when we are on track. Our energy can disappear when we’re not. We can feel tired, raw, frazzled and need time out when the world is too much with us.
Friday offers a competent, controlling Capricorn Moon to help us channel this energy and accomplish tasks. Over the weekend an Aquarius Moon can bring people together and reminds us we are leaving the Pluto in Capricorn decade of the strong men and entering the Pluto in Aquarius era where the populace calls its power back.
Early next week we can feel that raw, sensitive component as the Pisces Moon underlines some vulnerability, but we still have to deal with all that Aries torque. Remember to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. The waning Moon enters Aries on Wednesday and feeds action that is already in play. Put a five-second lead on any outrageous comment or action. Let’s not start conflict we don’t want to finish, instead, think about what we’d like to initiate in the weeks ahead. Hold a Neptunian vision beyond the garden of right and wrong and find a place to meet in wholeness.

Friday, April 10: Think through decisions carefully this day with strong ambient strategic and executive functioning as Mars enters Aries under a competent Capricorn Moon. It can be easy to waste our energy reacting to others’ actions, better we use it to empower our own decisions instead. The energy is pushy, our muscles can feel tight, patience is low, but we can get it done if we stay on target. Respond to headlines, process any surge of feeling and call representatives, then remember personal goals. Adjust plans midday as the Moon trines Uranus, look for a surprising opportunity. Engage community as the Moon enters interactive Aquarius tonight.

Saturday, April 11: Check the news this morning and share dreams, honor some deep emotional processes that occurred overnight the Moon conjuncts intense Pluto. Spend the day weaving community as the Aquarius Moon sextile Saturn and squares Venus. Our more emotionally intimate relationships can feel underfed as our attention goes outwards; our dogs need an extra treat and a walk; our beloveds need a moment of recognition for their special place in our lives. Let’s be honest with ourselves about what we feel and need in order to create a balance between our personal needs and the needs of the group.

Sunday, April 12: Maybe we just need to dream the day away as Mars conjuncts Neptune, a tricky aspect. Our imagination can be strong, so can our intuition, and we can light a fire under our spiritual path. Any ambient tension, violence, or anger echoes in the sub ether and through our psyches, so notice what’s going on in the big picture, send love where needed and don’t project that ambient tension into personal lives. Coercion can come as an illusion; we can be sold a bill of goods under the name of an inspiring moment; look at the motives for anybody trying to talk us into anything. Watch for confusion particularly around confrontations and war. Dream a good dream instead.

Monday, April 13: Cooperation gets us farther than irritation. Move past any recent tensions and help people work together by honoring their dreams, let everybody feel heard as the Moon enters sensitive, easily overwhelmed Pisces and Venus in earthy and beautiful Taurus sextiles Jupiter. We are all independent thinkers, but Venus needs our fire today, our protection, and our creative bravery. Be open with affection while respecting the other person’s boundaries. Take care of those who are actual victims, those caught in some cosmic crossfire. Cooperation gets us farther than irritation. Let’s just make sure we agree on the goal. Rest when needed, energy comes and fits and bursts.

Tuesday, April 14: Some brilliant new ideas arise as Mercury sextiles restless Uranus this morning and then enters Aries tonight. But we could also see some hare- brained, half cooked ideas in the process. Take the time to think things through before engaging. See what needs to be changed, but instead of exploding with impatience, ask what could bring real progress. Don’t drop what works just to reach for something new. Be outspoken about personal viewpoints–our words matter– but shift out of reaction and into pro-action before taking the podium. Give beloveds leeway to spout off, don’t slip into attack, instead speak in “I” statements.

Wednesday, April 15: The mood is spontaneous, rebellious, direct this morning; we want to start something, whether it’s party, project, romance, war, or rebellion. The stars want us to think fast as the waning Moon enters Aries and conjuncts Mercury, though we can get snappy and irritable with any delay or mistake. This burst can leave us ready for a nap or dream as the Moon conjuncts Neptune midday. Watch an irritated or impulsive patch late afternoon as the Moon conjuncts Mars, don’t test people’s patience when their tails are twitching. Serious considerations need attention and logistics need hammering out tonight as the Moon sextiles Pluto and conjunct Saturn.

Thursday, April 16: It may be truly hard to figure out what’s really going on in the world’s big picture as Mercury conjuncts foggy Neptune and Mars sextiles Pluto. This brings momentum and confusion, a tough combination, great for meditation and magic and hard on international politics. We could see great heroism or real drama and hear great stories but need to take all with a grain of salt and rethink these when the dust clears. Look for the story under the story. Listen for inspiration, new solutions, but think of long-term consequences before enacting. Don’t expect others to fall in line with a great idea because we’re all hearing our own drummer. Hear that inner calling and respond; our soul has torque and we need to listen.
