Starcodes for the week of May 29 – June 4, 2026
Look forward to iced tea and roses. Though we may feel serious or sullen as the weekend begins, summer is blossoming and can create more room for joy as the week goes on. Mars now pulls away from last week’s explosive square to Pluto which triggered literal explosions in China, southern California, Texas, Iran, and an explosion of disease as the Ebola epidemic expands. We’ll see less disasters initiated this week, though those intense life or death situations will still resonate in the news. It is going to be a long summer with large Plutonian issues- life, death, and the use of power – and a chance to transform them – as Jupiter moves into an opposition with Pluto in July.
As this week ends on Friday, the Moon in thoughtful, pointed Scorpio can leave us both unusually aware of summer’s lazy warmth, of deep feelings and old memories, and the heaviness of serious issues going on around this world.
The mood potentially lightens over the weekend as the glowing full Moon in restless, relentlessly honest, Sagittarius calls us out to dance. It wants us outside, at the farmer’s market, music festivals, or on the mountain trail. But this Moon also highlights any tension we feel between the desire to live locally, and the knowledge that we are an interconnected global citizen, and our world is hurting. We need to contemplate the global situation and act both locally and globally – and keep the two connected.
Mercury in verbal Gemini keeps our conversation buzzing through the weekend. The energy downshifts on Monday as Mercury enters more introspective Cancer while the Moon enters diligent Capricorn, we’ll want both deeper conversations and more organization. Just watch the control issues.
Midweek, pay extra attention to relationships and don’t take them for granted as Mars in stubborn Taurus squares the asteroid Juno and the Sun sextiles Saturn while Mercury squares foggy Neptune. Unless they ask, refrain from sharing great ideas about what others should be doing. Instead, it’s important to support their choices, projects, and work with which they identify.
On Wednesday and Thursday expect some karmic unfoldment and uncertainty as Mercury squares Neptune. Work to clear up confusion and be patient with misunderstandings. Notice where the internet has become a minefield of illusion, and double check all incoming information. The Moon enters Aquarius on Thursday and pulls us back into community and our responsibilities to the tribe of humankind.

Friday, May 29: An edgy, sarcastic humor can sharpen into bitterness where we feel out of control but can help us focus when we’re on target; feel the Scorpio Moon undercurrents under witty Gemini communication flow. Venus square Saturn can bring out our self-protective edge, bring our attention to where people walk their talk, and where their actions speak louder than words. Tonight, don’t take people’s withdrawal or silence or need to be with themselves personally, there’s a lot going on, and some will need to hold their cards close to the chest. Kind humor can help us connect to the well of deep feeling underneath as the Moon trines Jupiter around dinnertime, then lets us open up to possibilities.
Moon trine Jupiter 6:04 PM MDT.
Saturday, May 30: The Moon enters Sagittarius and calls us to change our plans, get outside and take in a change of scenery. Restless feet signal we’re ready to see things from a different perspective; play with that metaphor. Find a way to let life feel more spacious and less confined. This full Moon could call for radical honesty, a real wake-up call as we say what we mean, but it will land more efficiently if we do it tactfully. Listen for some unvarnished truth in the world news and discover what’s really going on. Look for environmental news. The energy can get wild tonight, so dance by the light of the nearly full Moon. Laughter is good medicine and sleep could be elusive or full of exploratory dreams.
Moon enters Sagittarius 6:44 AM MDT, Moon opposes Uranus 10:44 AM, Moon trines Neptune 2:52 PM, Moon sextiles Pluto 5:33 PM.
Sunday, May 31: The Moon is Full in Sagittarius at 2:44 AM MDT. Be kind to people who did not sleep well. Get out and about today, talk about the big picture. Words flow but may have extra weight, talk about the healing of the web as Mercury sextiles Chiron. Cross-pollinate ideas but don’t strain people’s concentration, just know that people’s attention span can be short as our thoughts fly in all directions. Calm those inner mental hamsters, direct nervous energy productively. We need to feel frank and open, connect through conversation, just watch a tendency to say too much or speak unproductively.
Moon opposed the Sun 2:44 AM MDT, Moon trine Saturn 7:20 AM, Mercury sextile Chiron 6:32 PM.
Monday, June 1: We could feel the crash from the full Moon buzz. People get serious. We work to balance our need to tell our story as Mercury enters internal Cancer versus a need to plan and accomplish as the Moon enters competent Capricorn. We could long for a homier home, safer safety, and want to know who we can rely on in a pinch. Meanwhile we can get frustrated with our wussy self or other people whose fear or concerns suddenly want to run the show. Our heart and brains can feel at odds as these planets oppose tonight, but we’ll work it out eventually if we keep the conversation going with respect, inside and out, and find a way forward that works for all sides.
Mercury enters cancer 5:55 AM MDT, Moon enters Capricorn 7:18 PM, Moon opposed Mercury 9:31 PM
Tuesday, June 2: Tend to structural things on this relatively efficient day. Our emotions can wobble but tending to the practical stuff brings good medicine to stabilize mood swings. Good decisions manifest as the Sun sextiles Saturn. Check in on relationships, do not take them for granted, and support the ambitions, ideas, and progress of beloved friends and family. We need to feel like we don’t have to choose between our life’s work and our life’s loves, they can work together. Tonight, we can get cranky if over-tired or behind in our plans as the Moon squares Saturn, don’t take it personally, just do what needs doing.
Moon square Neptune 3:34 AM MDT, Sun sextile Saturn 4:48 PM, Moon trine Mars 6:02 PM, Moon square Saturn 8:24 PM.
Wednesday, June 3: We’d love to be efficient, but our thinking can get fuzzy as Mercury in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries under the diligent Capricorn Moon. Don’t try people’s threadbare humor, they probably won’t find it funny. Watch for misrepresentations, lies, bamboozlement, or an unintentional deception, we can only be as honest with others as we are with ourselves. Do work to clarify misunderstandings and help people feel heard. Also keep an eye on water damage, particularly around travel or implements of communication, such as phones and computers. Check directions carefully if sent on a reroute while driving.
Moon opposed Venus 8:37 AM MDT, Mercury square Neptune 6:18 PM, Moon opposed Jupiter 9:03 PM.
Thursday, June 4: The summer mood took a few days off so we could get some work done but can return today. We are more ready for collaboration, both fun and good trouble, as the Moon enters collective Aquarius and trines change-creating Uranus while open-hearted Venus approaches Jupiter. Be open to new adventures and wafts of soft feeling. Make commitments to good things. A new seriousness could arise around dinnertime as the Moon conjuncts Pluto; avoid minor power struggles. Listen with compassion and don’t assume what is needed, ask instead. Make commitments to good things.
Moon enters Aquarius 7:45 AM MDTS, Moon trine Uranus 12:18 PM, Moon sextile Neptune 4:00 PM, Moon conjunct Pluto 6:21 PM.
