Starcodes for the week of April 24-30, 2026

Change-master Uranus enters Mercury-ruled Gemini this Saturday, heralding eight years of transformation through Geminian division or diversity, through Mercurial technological evolution and changes in how and what we choose to communicate. Last time Uranus entered Gemini was August 1941 through 1948, the heart of WW2. Uranus sextiled powerful Pluto then and trines Pluto now, both times precipitating technological advancement and societal transformation triggered by necessity. Also, Neptune is back in Aries for the first time since the American Civil War, and Chiron is back in Aries for the first time since 1968-76, concurrent with the last half of the Vietnam war and its opposition here at home.

We always have choice. We do not have to relive these dire cycles, though these next years will echo those challenging times. Our world is transforming unpredictably over these next eight years, and we need to direct the changes with care. The gift of Neptune in Aries can bring personal and spiritual bravery to our truth. Uranus in Gemini can bring an era of inventive brilliance and intense use of code as our world is transformed by AI, whether we like it or not. It could instigate the technology needed to step back from fossil fuels which will change the world’s power dynamics. We can either truly communicate, Gemini’s gift, or polarize and separate, Gemini’s shadow form. We can return to our roots for stability, but we can’t go backwards.

This week is infused with determination and change, and potentially a feeling of overwhelm if we let the details swamp us. Mercury, Mars, and Saturn infuse bravery and keep the sparks and determination flowing as they run close together in Aries with Neptune just behind. Our minds can work fast, have trouble concentrating for long periods of time, so it can be most efficient to work in short, intense chunks; throw ourselves into a project but take a break when bored or tired.

The Sun in earthy Taurus adds grounding, practicality, and stubbornness to this mélange. Venus in Gemini brings in a more flexible edge but can keep our nerves revving. It can also help us find the magically right words if people step out of their egos and are willing to truly dialogue with respect.

How this pattern will play out in the Mideast is a question we’re all watching. It brings an opportunity for real negotiations if both sides can step out of stubborn defensiveness and put their pride into actually serving the people they represent. But that’s a tall order. The tendency will be for countries to shoot themselves in the foot, work against their best interest in the name of not agreeing with the competition. We can hope, and we can work past that pattern in our own lives.

The weekend starts out under a stubborn Leo Moon, which forms some lovely trines to the Aries and potentially bring joy and adventure to our daily lives, though it adds heat to the boiling political pots.

The Virgo Moon on Sunday and Monday can make us a little crankier but brings us back to our health. Midweek, the Libra Moon forms a grand trine with Pluto on one corner and Venus and Uranus on the other, forming an opportunity for a breakthrough in connection and communication, a moment with our potential, our muse, and the universe.

Friday, April 24: Expect melodramatic moments on the world screen, important events feel close. The mood is heavy but with a lust for life as the Leo Moon trines Mars, Saturn, and Mercury. It’s OK to speak dramatically, with inspiration, but watch the incisive cutting comments with Mercury and Mars so close together. Speak from your own perspective instead. Handle serious things in the morning, note radical action, and call to adventure midday, and engage in great conversation towards dinner time as the Moon trines Mercury.

Moon trine Saturn 4:19 AM MDT, Moon trine Mars 9:48 AM, Moon trine Mercury 4:20 PM.

Saturday, April 25: What is the meaning of life in the face of life and death? The Sun squares Pluto and the mood can feel explosive and unpredictable with a strong emotional torque. It furthers to ponder those big existential questions; wonder why we are here, not rhetorically but with an open mind. Reach out to people who’ve been feeling depressed, not to fix their situation, but to share ballast. This square can also help us rise to challenges, though we may not be the least bit interested in a compromise. The asteroid Palace Athena enters Aries and sharpens our mind, Uranus enters nervy Gemini, the Moon enters equally nervy Virgo. Be cautious around temper flares which are displaced discomfort and may not make practical sense. Tonight, we could all use some comfort and a sense of connection as the Moon squares Venus.

Sun square Pluto 10:32 AM MDT, Uranus enters Gemini 6:49 PM, Moon enters Virgo 7:04 PM, Moon square Uranus 7:04 PM, Pallas Athena enters Aries 11:06 PM, Moon square Venus 11:39 PM.

Sunday, April 26: Change is in the air, pay attention to shifts in perspectives, situations. That Virgo Moon can stimulate cantankerousness unless we use its nudging to improve the situation, it furthers to weed the garden, pull out the art supplies, and tend the health. There is beauty just below the surface of this discontent, so let’s look for it and find the sacred in the morning’s beauty as Venus sextiles Neptune. Be moved to compassionate action, to connection with source. If anxiety creeps in, bring the mind back to those moments of beauty, spirit, and compassion. Watch timing issues; if a beloved affectionately reaches out, don’t let nervous preoccupation prevent connection.

Moon trine Sun 6:37 AM MDT, Venus sextile Neptune 11:42 AM, Mercury square Jupiter 12:32 PM.

Monday, April 27: We could start this day aware of all the details that need attention, resent that impingement on our freedom, and find ways to procrastinate. But this could be an unusually practical day if we don’t feel overwhelmed by all that needs to be done, even though it’s clearly visible. Chunk it down and check off one thing at a time. Clear the decks, absorb what needs to be absorbed and release the flotsam as the Virgo Moon sextiles Jupiter. Don’t over-edit or focus on only the weeds, keep the whole project in mind and, afterwards, take in springtime’s medicine. If people nearby get cranky, they’re probably feeling their own pressures; help where possible without enabling bad behavior and don’t take that prickliness personally.

Moon sextile Jupiter 5:11 AM MDT.

Tuesday, April 28: A morning of contradictions; we could both want peace and be spoiling for a fight as the Moon enters Libra opposite all that Aries energy. Some awareness of pain or fear of loss can either shut us down or crack us wide open as Venus in Gemini forms an emotionally vivid grand trine with Pluto and the Moon- bisected by an opposition between that Moon and both Neptune and Saturn. Collaborate, communicate, work with good people to handle real problems. For those who seek a truly creative peace, we can understand something profound about ourselves, our creative process, our situation, or our people. For those that are trying to maintain a Neptunian illusion of dominance or control rather than perceive a more complex truth underneath, expect a storm. Watch the literal and metaphorical winds and the weather and work with prevailing conditions; we can go far if we set our sails right but experience turbulence if the wind hits us crosswise. Share from the heart with integrity.

Moon enters Libra 3:02 AM MDT, Moon trine Uranus 3:17 AM, Moon opposed Neptune 9:06 AM, Venus trine Pluto 10:39 AM, Moon trine Pluto 1:00 PM, Moon trine Venus 1:50 PM, Venus squares the lunar nodes 7:04 PM, Moon opposed Saturn 8:06 PM.

Wednesday, April 29: Friendliness furthers. We could paradoxically long for both adventure and for a cozy home, need connection and stir conflict as the Libra Moon opposes Mars. If so, time-share between needs or redirect tension by working towards a shared goal. Most of us want to work independently but we can still find that point in common. Trivia won’t hold our attention so we can make problems bigger just to feel part of something important; tackle real problems instead of making molehills into mountains. Generosity flows comfortably later; horizons widen and we can see the bigger picture as the Moon squares Jupiter.

Moon opposed Mars 8:23 AM MDT, Moon square Jupiter 3:05 PM.

Thursday, April 30: Juggle tension between what the heart wants and what the mind perceives, but don’t get too distracted by these conflicts and miss what’s happening right here and now. It could be magical. It’s easy to get accident prone pondering life’s purpose while walking downstairs, so pay attention to the simple things. Deal with people in the morning before the Moon enters Scorpio midday and takes us to a more focused and brooding place. Be wary of people with revenge on their mind, resentments can have nothing to do with the facts or their projection object. Deal with the feelings and rather than trying to find someone to blame as the Moon squares Pluto tonight. Look deep within with honesty.

Moon opposed Mercury 2:51 AM MDT, Moon opposed Chiron 8:04 AM, Moon enters Scorpio 1:01 PM, Moon squares Pluto 11:50 PM.
