Starcodes for the week of July 24-30, 2026

We’ve entered Leo season, the heart of summer. This week the Sun conjuncts expansive Jupiter in Leo, sign of our solar system’s hearth-fire, where it adds panache, ego, and volume to all our forms of expression. It’s time for art festivals and grand summer romances, political dramas and dueling egos. Leo infuses challenge when it exacerbates the self-centeredness of people or countries but imparts such a gift when it inspires a generous outpouring of the heart and of our creative output.

Our world recently got a download as Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter all hit 4 degrees and set up a resonance, planting new seeds for future disasters, growth, shifts, and metamorphosis in our world.

Mercury just turned direct last night after three weeks retrograde, and now sextiles Venus, this next week is time to recombobulate our discombobulation, review recent decisions and sort the seeds we need to run with, the new opportunities, from the disastrous misconceptions. Straighten out misunderstandings and snafus and identify what we accidentally dropped while we were juggling so many things together. Pick up threads and weave the patterns back together.

Check in on relationships and give them some love and attention, they may feel a bit threadbare after the last few weeks, tested by misunderstandings, preoccupation, or our energies just dispersed into other things. This week encourages us to reconnect on a deeper level as Mercury sextiles Venus, both to clear up some logistical difficulties, and to listen deeply, warm up the hearts and get back on the same page.

Some challenging aspect later in the week can bring us closer together if we handle challenges together, or they can add stress If we are not aligned with beloveds and coworkers while the Sun opposes the asteroid Juno, opposes Pluto, and sextiles Uranus. Through this week we also need to work on foundations and pay attention to chains of command as Saturn turns retrograde.

Look to see who steps in to take responsibility and propose good systems, and who leans into blame and braggadocio without a clear plan forward. The Pluto-Sun opposition as Saturn retrogrades can precipitate the consequences of our actions, for better or worse. We feel the world’s heaviness. We may get a gift from work we’ve done before but could watch real power struggles on the world’s stage that may take months to repair. May we move past this for the good of all.

starcodes reading week of July 24 through 30 by Heather Roan Robbins

Friday, July 24: A day of lightness and depth, waves sparkle over oceanic depths as Neptune sextiles Pluto and asks us about our spiritual path in the face of loss, death, and life. We need to bring a new level of honesty to the table, but also diplomacy, as Mercury sextiles Venus while the restless Sagittarius Moon forms a grand trine with the Sun and Jupiter in Leo on one side and Neptune in Aries on the other. We can dream about a journey we’d like to take of mind, body or spirit, a leap forward but have some cleanup and groundwork to do first. Recombobulate, repair, reorganize.

Moon trine Neptune 3:51 AM MDT, Moon sextile Pluto 3:53 AM, Moon opposed Uranus 4:40 AM, Moon trine Jupiter 5:47 AM, Mercury sextile Venus 10:12 AM, Neptune sextile Pluto 11:48 PM.

Saturday, July 25: On this restless, unsettled, impulsive morning, let’s find a balance between our path and coordinating with others; our impulses and priorities can differ from those around us as the Moon squares Venus and opposes Mars. Midday brings questions around who’s in charge as Saturn retrogrades. Tonight it furthers to get out and dance, walk in the moonlight or lend a helping hand at some outside event and look for an opportunity for new people and fresh directions to enter our life.

Moon trine Saturn 12:53 AM MDT, Moon square Venus 5:53 AM, Moon opposed Mars 8:57 AM, Saturn turns retrograde 1:56 PM.

Sunday, July 26: Everybody’s a supervisor, less people are the rank and file. We’ve got work to do as the Moon enters organizing Capricorn, but we can easily waste it telling each other what to do rather than doing the work ourselves. That pattern can wear on romantic and work partnerships as the Sun opposes Juno unless we support their right to walk their own path. Later, take a break as the Moon squares Neptune and savor the moment, don’t push a decision now, instead check for a missing piece of information or part before beginning. Tonight can weigh heavily as the Sun approaches an opposition to Pluto just after midnight. Some consequences come home to roost; a few will be wonderful, but we can see where the train’s been riding the wrong tracks.

Moon enters Capricorn 7:43 AM MDT, Sun opposes Juno 10:58 AM, Moon squares Neptune 4:26 PM.

Monday, July 27: This could be a worst and best of days as the Sun first opposes Pluto and then trines Neptune and sextiles Uranus. We could be confronted with a person or fact which challenges our direction, it can feel depressing but may help us know where we need to let go of one path and find fresh options, which were hidden before but now can sprout. Release what doesn’t work and create room for incoming dreams; weed to encourage new growth. Walk away from controlling people and unnecessary struggles as Venus squares Mars; notice how many people’s objections really are projection. This is a pragmatically competent day; well-aimed momentum can bring good things.

Sun opposed Pluto 12:54 MDT, Sun trine Neptune 1:36 AM, Moon square Saturn 1:23 PM, Sun sextile Uranus 3:36 PM, Moon opposed Mercury 6:08 PM.

Tuesday, July 28: We can get wound up in our heads when really our emotions drive the situation. Expect some tension in relationships where anxiety seeps in; the faster our minds spin, the less decisive our thoughts will be and the more friction we’ll produce as Venus and Mars square in Mercury-ruled Virgo and Gemini. Instead, let’s be honest, first with ourselves and then with one another, about our conflicting feelings. Slow down and tend to the practical, do it as a centering meditation. Put effort into long term plans under this competent Capricorn Moon, just don’t push other people into theirs. Tonight, as the bright Moon waxes into Aquarius, full in the early morning hours, a wonderful moon to howl, gather, protest, dance, and tend the world.

Moon trine Venus 12:10 AM MDT, Moon enters Aquarius 7:45 PM.

Wednesday, July 29: We want context. This morning’s full Moon in Aquarius- conjunct Jupiter in fixed-sign Leo and Aquarius, brings a high tide for both a desire for connection and for personal visibility. It can highlight tension between our individual’s need to shine and the needs of the collective. People are stubborn as Mars and Venus square off, but we can find an opening with some creativity. This full Moon is great for a party, picnic, declaration, expression, or gathering with like minds but willful debates will get nowhere; intrigue people rather than push. Watch how ego issues add fuel to any fire. We can both shine and serve the world, this is not a paradox.

Venus square Mars 1:09 AM MDT, Moon conjunct Pluto 4:07 AM, Moon sextile Neptune 4:14 AM, Moon trine Uranus 5:29 AM, Sun conjunct Jupiter 6:17 AM, Moon opposed Jupiter 8:26 AM, Moon opposed the Sun 8:35 AM.

Thursday, July 30: Keep momentum going on recent reconciliation, balance, and sprouting ideas as the Moon sextiles Saturn and trines Mars. Notice that some of the prickly spines calm down, heels are less dug in, minds open, shared ideas can get farther. Pitch a fresh approach. Take the expansion of yesterday’s Jupiter conjunction and run with it; promote, pitch that new idea and update the website. Energy fluctuates on and off throughout the day, run with it when the energy flows in, takes short breaks when it flows out.

Moon sextile Saturn 12:43 AM MDT, Moon trine Mars 3:26 PM.
